Here after the death of Ozzy Osbourne July 22, 2025
Just reading that Cosby wrote a letter to The Osbourne family calling them disgraceful and that they were not worthy of being American family role models.

Rolling Stone

Sharon Osbourne wrote Cosby a letter back, pointing out his public affair, and this was before this case of drugging and sexual assault came out.

It seems Bill Cosby was quite full of himself, so worried about his image, his legacy, but carried on a secret life of depravity due to his fake wholesome image- shattered and his three years in prison.

And then we look back on the craziness of Ozzy Osbourne, and how he was loved due to his authenticity despite his antics and language. Gone are the days of fake TV- fake relationships, fake familes. People long for authentic families that look like their own- and The Osbourne seemed more that kind of family.

Ozzy and Sharon were married for over 43 years, and have three children and ten grand children. Ozzy died surrounded by family and love.
No sexual assault charges

IMO

Bill Cosby clearly never heard the old adage, "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". Bill Cosby was no Cliff Huxtable.

As much as I hate to admit full disclosure - yes, I used to admire this individual and the humor he provided when I was young. Long ago. Fat Albert and the gang. Wonderful news album, etc. Sadly that has changed……. much has changed.

But at this circa January 28, 2026 announcement from TMZ on this individual’s allegations of quaalude use…… just have to ask what the purpose of his revealing this now? For what purpose?

Is someone alleging that they were not an addict as they didn’t take them? As it was ‘beneath’ their conduct? Is this an attempt to lower or discredit the victims since they were under the influence of that drug? An attempt to shift some portion of blame, since a supposed gynecologist provided them to him?

Simply SMH. I really personally have to question why this is being revealed and now. Again SMH. My sympathies are with the victims and alleged victims. MOO

This info is part of a current lawsuit deposition…

“The bombshell admission is part of a deposition Cosby gave in a lawsuit filed by one of his rape accusers, Donna Motsinger ... and parts of his testimony are included in new legal docs obtained by TMZ.”

You can't be guilty in a civil trial. Only liable or not liable on a much lower threshold of evidence than a criminal trial.

A civil jury in California found Monday that Bill Cosby was liable for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 1972 and awarded her $59.25 million. After a nearly two-week trial in Santa Monica, jurors found Cosby, 88, liable for the sexual battery and assault of Donna Motsinger. They awarded her $17.5 million in past damages and $1.75 million for future damages, including “mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, inconvenience, grief, anxiety, humiliation, and emotional distress.”

Then in a second phase of the trial Monday afternoon, they awarded an additional $40 million in punitive damages. Cosby’s attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, said in an email after the initial award earlier Monday that they are disappointed and fully intend to appeal the verdict. She did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the punitive damages. Deliberations lasted about two days

A woman who accused Bill Cosby of sexually abusing her more than five decades ago was awarded almost $60 million by a Southern California civil jury Monday, an attorney for the plaintiff said.

Donna Motsinger, who accused Cosby of sexual battery, alleging that he abused her while she worked as a server at a Northern California restaurant in 1972, was awarded $59.52 million, including $40 million in punitive damages, and the rest in past and future non-economic damages.

The payments are the result of a 2023 lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica...

A sad case of a man who was once a universally well loved person, to end up in his eighties a loathed man paying for his sexual crimes. Gross.

His victims expected--and were mostly correct--that they would never be believed over such a universally well loved person.

He carefully cultivated that lovable image just for that reason.

I still have cable and it angers me to no end that "The Cosby Show" reruns are still being played on one of the channels. For which he is probably still getting royalties.
