Why do people keep insisting that the media decided that missing kids = money after the Casey Anthony story? The media has been covering true crime for decades. Lizzie Borden, the Lindbergh baby, Mary Phagan, Charles Manson were huge stories in their day; then you had modern cases like OJ, JonBenet, Elizabeth Smart, Laci Peterson, etc. Casey didn't start some new trend.

It's when big money and exclusives really came to the forefront. ratings mean money

The threads regarding this case move very fast so I'm doing my best to keep up. I have no concrete theories as to where baby Lisa is, but I am getting a Haleigh Cummings vibe from this case and I am HOPING that I am wrong.

I am a bit skeptical about this private investigator, but I really hope he proves to be useful in helping to find her.
