I think that CA let so many obvious lies slide because she didn't want to know they were lies. I think that casey has probably been lying since she was old enough to talk. AS her mother, CA has been dealing with that for years, whether she prompted the lies or not. It's almost like dealing with an alcoholic. You try and protect them from themselves, you cry, you scream, you pray, they promise to get better, sometimes they do, for a while. And then they stop getting better and the cycle repeats. A lot of people can only repeat that cycle so many times before they give up. CA didn't want to know that casey was lying, the same as some people don't want to know if an alcoholic is drinking. She overlooked the lasck of money, lack of nanny, lack of pay stubs and tax returns the same way that some families will overlook beer on a grocery reciept or the smell of alcohol on someone's breath.

P.S. as a shot girl, no paper trail, no paycheck, no 1099, no nothing. Just bring the owner what he wants for the rack of shots, get another rack if there is enough time in the night and keep doing it as long as you are willing to show up. For someone looking for a sugar Daddy, this is where its at. The shot girls where I worked wore bikini's, and not much else. Luckily, I became a bartender quickly, but I know the routine. (Happily married real estate agent for 13 years now)

You have a "rack" of shots, and the club owner will tell you how much they want for the whole rack. Say 100.00. You go around selling shot by shot to customers(or multiple shots at a time, depending on how many you can sweet talk customer into buying) once you have reached the amount the club owner wants for the shots, you keep the rest. (Tips) Been there, done that. Usually the shots are in a foam type of holder and there are 50 of them, for 2.00 a piece. Sometimes I would sell for 3.00 if the person was drunk, or try to sell someone in a big group the whole thing....worked many times, and I was propositioned MANY MANY MANY times. This is why I think of this prostitute angle...The club owners would even suggest it if they had a friend who liked the looks of the shot girl and wanted some one on one time they couldnt get with them inside the club. A few girls had ongoing play for play relationships with multiple men.... Wake up! It happens every night. Everywhere.

I believe Casey was led on by the owner of Fusion - for instance she gets to be a shot girl, and when he sees she fits in then she will manage the shot girls for a paying job - my guess is that Casey couldn't find someone to watch Caylee, her Mom wouldn't do it sometimes, so this could be where the drugging started of Caylee - maybe sleeping in the car when she is in the club partying and selling shots - then they might go home after or go to Tony's

This really hindered Casey and her 'clubbing' - she probably thought she could make a lot of quick money and Caylee was keeping her back

Oh and I am awake -I've been there done that all over the world -this kind of stuff may happen but it's not the norm

O.K. I posted a reply, but it got lost somewhere in Cyberspace...Trac, I agree with your theory. However, #1, I was merely explaining to the people who may not know what a shot girl is. You, on the other hand have world experience. #2- This "stuff" IS the norm. I am not sure what world you inhabit, but here in my world, bar owners do anything they can to take advantage of young girls who need money to fund thier habits, lifestyles, etc. I am not sure of your age, but I would bet its been a while since you have made the rounds in the club scene. There is MUCHO dirty business going on, much illegal activity, and I hate to say it, but prostitution, and god forbid, working under the table.
With that being said, there are also many club owners who try to go by the rules, and do things by the book. The only problem is that the kids figure out really quickly where the "fun" is and abandon these clubs for clubs where more of an anything goes attitude is present. If they do get caught, there is always someone with enough money to start another club in its place.

I dont like it, but some young people have a sense of entitlement, and alot of them want to find the easiest, fastest way to make a buck. Young girls are bombarded with images of models, and party girls a la Paris Hilton and the like, and they want it, and want it now. Alcohol use is glamorized, and the one with the most cash, wins. I was involved in this for MANY years. I thought because I had a pretty face, I could have any damn thing I wanted when I wanted and I was willing to do just about anything to get it. I see friends young and just a little bit too old still doing it every day.... I have no idea what stopped me, maybe a family that took the time to keep reminding me I was going down a bad road.....KC doesn't seem to have had this. I am positive---- There are many things that we dont know about this girl, but a part of me sees myself in her because of the stupid decisions she has made, and how the party was all that mattered. I couldnt wait until the sun went down so I could go out and get money in whatever was the easiest way it presented itself. Luckily, I didnt have a child, but if I did, I probably would have put her with whoever I could, so I could have "my fun". J-M-O!

Who came forward? I don't remember anyone corraborating her job status - Universal subcontracted to Kodak and Colorvision for pictures at the park (the ones you get on the ride like the Mummy and what not) She was fired basically for abandoning her job in 2006 - she just didn't show up - they have a few of her paycheck stubs in the last document dump somewhere, she worked maybe 1 - 4 hour day a week - she would have been a pain in the arse employee

The money trail is interesting........even if both parents had great jobs, the income and out going bills do not add up............do the math. Car, insurance,gas,charge card bills, utilities, mortgage, food, cell phones...........IMO, something 'stinks'

KC and Caylee lived at home until the last month. Shelter/Utilities/Food were provided. Car was in GA and CA name and most likely they cover the insurance too ( I still cover my kids insurance ) the only real need for money are GAS, Partying, Clothes, Cell phone. She PT worked for Kodak and could still have picked up shifts here and there at clubs etc - maybe KC was a good thief too ... point is the big ticket items were already provided she needed petty cash to run on

A: By now, she would have told everyone her own story of how KC stole from her, lied to her, used her, bounced a check to her, etc.

Haven't read everything under this post, but I did find it very interesting the checks that KC cashed at Amscot that were from her mother CA. Don't know if much discussion or analysis has been done on this, if anyone can point me in the right direction, this angle is interesting to me.

It will be interesting to hear and see how much money is NOT being taken from the A's now - they will start to see really how much Casey stole with none of it disappearing anymore

Dont fool yourself -- JB is in this for the publicity - think of it as Advertising. If he somehow bargains this down or gets an acquittal or dismissal he will have more business than you can imagine! If he never sees a dime from the Anthony clan he will take all those hours he is spending and costs and use those "expenses" to write off the paying customers

I disagree. No! No! nobull. If KC was a webcam girl, first of all she would have had some MONEY! She's a very pretty girl (ugh I hate to say that). And others may hate that I'm going to say this....MAYBE she SHOULD HAVE gotten into webcam . No doubt she would have been "successful". It would have been much better for Caylee to have a disinterested Mom that was at least making bunches of money so she could afford to give her interesting vacation/travel/life/memory experiences,...than to have a pretty Mom who ignored her basically 24/7, made NO money and took her nowhere.

Would be very easy to work PT in a 'massage' parlor. The going rate for 'tips' resulting in happy endings can easily be 50 - 100. Work 3 hours 3 days a week and might clear 1000 tax free. Not bad if all you have to pay is your cell phone, gas, clothes at target, etc.

Maybe KC was a thorn in CA's side just as Caylee seemed to be in KC's side. Maybe Mom just didnt want to know all of the answers so as not to rock the boat, and keep up the appearances of a normal family. Some people are borderline obsessed about what the neighbors, friends etc.. thinks of them, and will put on a show to make sure it stays the way they want it to. Maybe CA just didnt care what KC was doing, as long as she didnt ask for money. Maybe she didnt WANT to know. Hell, IDK, I am grasping at so many things here.

Prostitutes are a very sneaky lot. Alot of times, there are people behind the scenes who take the calls, and set up the meeting, etc. Her phone wouldnt necessarily have all of the calls from customers. As a matter of fact, it would probably show NO calls from customers. this is just a theory, not fact. It wouldnt surprise me one bit.
Medical records of a prostitute? That is a joke. Some of these young girls will do anything for 100.00, and going to the doctor isnt one of them. A 1099? Ha! another joke. Library computer anyone?
Amy and Ricardo would be the last to know. There seems to be alot of partying and no money to do it with, so you tell me...Cindy didn't pay for her lifestyle. JMO.

As for the partying I bet she was on a lot of Guys tabs for the drinks she consumed. Ive been on the paying end of a lot of tabs and I know i didnt consume all of it ... also the "server" community does a lot of free drink trade out ... where I come into your bar and you come into mine and we both drink for next to nothing .. maybe $5 at most per night. So if you are in the click it isnt hard to party cheap.
