Pakistan parliament condemns bin Laden raid
Bin Laden was like a 'dead person despite being alive,' Pakistan intelligence chief reportedly tells lawmakers

Members of Pakistan's Parliament slammed the United States on Saturday for the raid that killed al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden on their soil, but also demanded that an independent commission probe the debacle instead of one led by the country's powerful armed forces.

It seems like part of the Pak government is angry at us for the raid, but others seem almost embarrassed that obl was there.

In point of fairness, a raid into another country's borders is often seen as an act of war isn't it? I know the killing of citizen can be. How about the killing of a non citizen?

It is about time the Pak government was put on account for their actions. Are they our allies? Or the ally of the Taliban? This is one case where they can't have it both ways.

You are exactly right, mysteriew. A raid into sovereign state is very much an act of war. Pakistan has to make a fuss about it, which will blow over in time to accept the next check we send.

And to be fair, if the situation were reversed, we would be bombing Pakistan right now.
