There have been a few reports from people describing what sounded like them, but no scientific observation in over 140 years. That is, until this month! The sheer glee and pure love from the scientific team who found they had captured a picture and film of this handsome feathered fellow will make you happy too. By finding them, there is hope this will help protect the habitats of threatened wildlife. Locals were described as very excited to work with the conservation team to protect a bird most never imagined existed.
