Bird flu in humans


China reports a third human case of the H3N8 strain of bird flu​

  • A 56-year-old woman in Zhongshan tested positive for the virus after being exposed to live poultry
  • Health authorities haven’t confirmed how she became infected but say the risk of transmission is low

 
Lol, I was confused reading the title as I went to Hong Kong in 2015, and there were a LOT of posters in public parks warning about the potential for humans to contract bird flu. Seeing it was in Chile makes it make more sense...
I hope it doesn't become more widespread.
