Details of Disappearance
On 05 January 1991, Bruce Blimkie, left the Riverview Inn in Norway Bay, Quebec to travel home by snowmachine across the Ottawa River to Arnprior, Ontario. It was believed that Mr. Blimkie was travelling in an area of the Ottawa River where there was open water. It is believed that Mr. Blimkie's snowmachine went through the ice into the water and he is presumed drowned.
