Gosh....65 is young. I wonder if he had a heart attack. Very sad.
Condolences to his wife and family.

Could be covid related. Covid can cause blood clots to form. Blood clots could lead to a heart attack or a stroke (depending on where they end up, in the heart or in the head).

It sounded like his Covid was very recent. He spoke about it from the stage on Saturday evening during his performance. A friend said that Bob mentioned it to him just a few days prior. The friend mentioned that Bob told him it was rough.

Oh reading that statement from the Full House family just tore me up but it was perfectly written & beautiful. RIP Bob. What a funny, funny guy who seemed so laid back & happy, likeable and blessed with a great voice & terrific timing. He will be so missed.

'Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we grieve as a family,' the statement said. 'Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob.

'He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob's honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob.'

It was signed off from, 'John, Dave, Candace, Jodie, Lori, Andrea, Scott, Jeff, Ashley and Mary-Kate.'

Bob Saget's cause of death released - CNN

Bob Saget, who was found dead in his Orlando, Florida hotel room last month, died from the result of a head trauma, according to a statement from his family.

"The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep," the statement said. "No drugs or alcohol were involved."

So weird….

It could have been something as simple as a slip on ice in a parking lot - a decent whack but not enough that would prompt someone to seek medical attention.
Agreed. How many times have we gotten a good smack and didn't think anything of it? I know I have, as recently as a couple of weeks ago. I was in a hurry and smacked my head with the corner of the car door. Didn't think anything of it until I saw there was a small dented spot on my forehead a couple of days ago.

It has to be glaringly obvious to any reporter or police spokesman announcing the cause of death of someone so famous that simply saying he hit his head on “something” is insufficient. Why would they leave the name of the “something” out?

In my opinion the least likely place to hit yourself accidentally on the head is right at the back. I can see that happening on the side of a tub or going down uncarpeted stairs but even then the person would have other injuries such as a bruised shoulder or knee, A jammed finger or a scrape on the arm.

I hope that the death investigator didn’t just assume it must’ve been a heart attack and fail to adequately document the scene. MOO

Brain injuries aren’t always obvious. Think of a carton of eggs. If you drop the carton from a height, there will be external damage to the eggs that’s plainly visible. But a quick, hard jolt to the carton can damage the yolks while leaving the shells intact.

A backwards fall can do major brain damage without leaving a mark IMO. If the back of the skull takes the brunt of the force, there wouldn’t necessarily be any contusions to the back or shoulder areas.

Wouldn’t he start to have signs of a brain injury before dying? All reports say his performance that night was normal, no s&s of confusion, irritation, physical ailments. If the head injury happened after the performance when he was back in his room (likely alone), what could he have hit it on? I’m thinking bathtub or maybe a table. We haven’t heard he was in the shower or of any damage to the room, so it still doesn’t add up to me. Is there video of the door to his room so they know for a fact no one went in or out?

If it happened in his hotel room, bathroom floor would be my guess. Signs of a major injury can show up immediately or within minutes, but not always IMO.
