INDIANAPOLIS — Bob Kevoian woke up Thursday morning with a smile on his face. He had plans for the weekend, maybe a trip to Walt Disney World. He'd been battling cancer for three years, but he was smiling, making it through the good days and those really tough days, and doing it all with humor.

But Thursday night, Kevoian took a sudden turn for the worse. And by Friday at 5:30 p.m., the end was near.

His wife Becky and three sons were in the room with Kevoian, playing his favorite album, The Beatle's "Abbey Road," side 2. That album ends with the song "Golden Slumbers."

"Which was Bob's favorite. They were all singing it out loud," said Tom Griswold, Kevoian's longtime co-host on "The Bob & Tom Show. "And Bob literally took his last breath when the song (was ending). It sounds like something out of a movie."

Kevoian was 75.

Listened to Bob & Tom for decades, starting in HS & Bob will be greatly missed. Show hasn’t been the same since his semi-retirement 10-11 years ago, IMO. His laugh alone could make others laugh.

"Miss you Bobbitty Bob."

Same, dude. I feel like there are so many people like me who grew up listening to the show with their dad against the fairer sex's objections. Feels like one of those few things I feel strongly connected to with my pops.

Probably the two biggest imprints from the show are Dan St. Paul's First Baseball Game and Tom Mabe's pranks
