Re: BKB's Estate. I'm in the process of making chili and can't look it up right now, but I read somewhere just recently (media report here) that Aunt Pat Houston was instrumental in helping her niece set up finances when Bobbi Kristina inherited her mother's Estate.

There is more there than we know..........a court order to evict him? His personal things?
Not 1 person in the family willing to help him............

You are correct

Just pull the plug already!

I have to say that the use of the phrase “pulling the plug,” is troubling to me.
While I know some use that terminology when suggesting that someone be removed from medical intervention, I would think here at WS we would be more sensitive to the victim and use more appropriate terminology.

When faced with difficult decisions regarding my own loved one this phrase was never used when physicians communicated with us our loved one's medical condition.

It is also inaccurate according to our experience. There was no "unplugging" in our experience. No one walked over to a wall and unplugged anything. As has been described on this thread, when medical support is withdrawn, it is a sequence of events that honors the loved ones and allows for a natural death.

I think that sometimes the words we use are very powerful and lead to misconceptions to what actually happens. In our case it was stressed that we were not making the decisions that caused death but were instead relieving suffering and considering what the patient would wish in this situation.

I'm sure there are provisions in place for someone to oversee BKB's finances. While she's hospitalized, someone is likely making mortgage payment or paying rent, utility bills, etc. Bobbi Kristina was a very young woman when she inherited a massive fortune, and I'm sure that family members were very aware of the need to make certain that no one could take advantage of their loved one who had lost her beloved mother. Since Pat Houston helped BKB set up her finances after WH died, I'd guess that PH is probably in charge of the money during this difficult period. :moo:

The "thanks" button wasn't enough. Very well said. :tyou:

As soon as I read that it was security I wondered if he or she was there due to an alarm being set off. So much we don't know at this point.

ETA ...Sorry I meant to quote passionflower regarding cable guy and codes.

Ahhhh ... change security codes to the home ... interesting thought!

If Nick was there when he was there I doubt it. plus you don't need them to come and change your codes.

BBM - Maybe you do when you're young, don't read the instruction manual and don't know how to change the codes ???

Maybe BK changed the code and NG wasn't aware? Silent alarm. Okay....I'm really reaching now and I know it.lol

I think this is unlikely. If they were showing him where the TV's were, It sounds to me like a cable thing.. Not an alarm thing.

I must have missed where it was reported that the issue was with the security system and not the cable. Has this been confirmed? I know our cable, internet, and security system is all part of our cable bundle.

IIRC, I thought reports have just mentioned the "cable guy" needing access to the master bedroom, not the particular technology sought after but I could be wrong. :dunno:

I always thought it was cable but a link was posted a few days ago that said it was security that came out. I'll see if I can find the link.

ETA...Quester has the link posted below me.

Here you go ...

... MELANIE BROMLEY, E! NEWS (via telephone): Yes, it is true. We were told that was a cable man who was there at the house in order to fix the security system. ...

One of the reports mentioned Comcast, and it's possible that the security system was part of a cable/internet/landline/security package. Comcast cable guy would show up for issues with any/all.
