I hope LE will be watching the interview with Dr. Phil, and maybe a body language specialist, as well. I think the purpose of the "intervention" is to embarrass Bobby Brown and family. I hope it backfires. :angel:

'Doctor Phil's' credentials...This was brought up when he intervened in the Brittany Spears debacle in 2008. Basically PHD and a doctorate has to do with the level of education and not a license to operate without one.

One of my best friends is a teacher in the New York Public Schools system. Has been for years. He has a Doctorate in Educational Psychology. He is paid more than the average teacher because of it. The only time the word "Doctor" is brought up is when his credentials come into question or salary grades, etc.. He does not put Doctor on his door.

This is why he always "refers" to other licensed doctors. I don't believe he could prescribe medications much above over the counter.

Just watched the video clip again. Notice how Nick rubs the corners of his eyes in an attempt to generate tears? :dramaqueen:

What I don't understand is if he is using Xanax is it prescription? If so what doctor is prescribing a controlled substance to a patient that has admitted thoughts of suicide? If it is a case of non prescribed drugs why has he not been arrested for possession of it? With Nick checking himself into rehab he can walk out any time he wants to. Also if any reputable rehab finds him to be uncooperative and/or disruptive to group therapy etc. they will bounce him out of there, IMO. For the time being Nick's attention starvation will be at bay until after the Dr. Phil segment airs. Depending on how the show is edited and the slant given, if the teasers are any indication at all he will need to get more attention to make his points and a platform to express them. He'll be looking for the nearest social media device.

I don't know if my tear ducts are messed up, but all my life tears drop out of my eyes actually before I cry. I'm an older guy and was raised that men don't cry. (wrong I understand) When I see an actor on screen do it I just chalk it up to bad acting. But this kid is doing it with a so called "Doctor" in the room and somebody needs to call him on it instead of using it for sensationalism and ratings.

BKB's name is used trending on sites when the articles actually have to do with this fool. It's just plain wrong to me.

Also as a side note if it is true that Nick punched two of the Dr. Phil staff at the taping. If that be true why was he not arrested and prosecuted for Assault? How many passes does this guy get before he is introduced into the criminal system?

I'm not buying any of this. Maybe I'm being cynical, but I think the intervention and rehab have an ulterior motive - he's getting his defense lined up for when he's arrested for murder. The alleged assault on two staff members is just to add to the sensationalism of the story Dr Phil is selling. MOO
