Body Found Along San Jacinto River

HOUSTON—Harris County Homicide detectives are gathered at the San Jacinto River after a body was discovered Saturday morning. The body was found lying next to the water under a highway overpass near I-10 at Monmouth around 10 a.m. Authorities have been searching for two missing women; one from Beaumont and one from southwest Houston. It was not known if the body is that of either missing woman. This story comes to us through our partnerhsip with KHOU News.

This later article says the deceased might be Reina Janeth Cornejo-Triqueros who went missing on Monday. Clothing on the body is similar to the description of the clothing Cornejo-Triqueros was last seen wearing. A murder warrant was issued for her boyfriend.

It was confirmed this week that it is the body of Reina Trigueros.
