NJ Body found in refrigerator, Belleplain State Forest, 22 Dec 2024 (Laura Leigh Hughes) *Arrest*

Female had a yoga mat and a necklace (no desc). A recon photo of her tattoos are below. A koi fish on the back of her shoulder blade and a large rose tattoo on her ribs extending from chest to hip.

December 29, 2024

On December 22, NJ State Police say unidentified human remains were discovered in Belleplain State Forest.

They believe the remains belong to a Caucasian or Hispanic female, approximately 5'1" tall.

The back lace/pendant looks like an astrological star chart charm.

Whoever did those........tattoos knows who she is.
...Tho they may not want to admit it.

Depending on how old the body looks, if it was skeletal or mummified, they should consider Diana Moreno-Acevedo, missing 2003. She was last seen in Freehold NJ (under 2hr drive from Belleplain), was 5'3", Hispanic, and had a "fish tattoo on right shoulder", no mention of a lower back rose tattoo though. Her circumstances on CP are very complicated...love triangles, curses, human sacrifice??
She was allegedly wrapped in a blanket with a blanket being missing from her home; perhaps related to the 'yoga mat'?

Someone has to recognise those tattoos.

I note that Danielle Lopez (who I mentioned earlier) is listed as 5’4 (not terribly far off) and doesn’t have any tattoos mentioned in her namus.

Here are photos of the necklace and yoga mat that were found with her.

I read that Danielle does not have any tattoos. It would be good if NamUs could include that information rather than leaving it blank.

If that pendant is meant to be a zodiac sign, it might give a possible birthday range. Looks vaguely like a simplified Taurus IMO, but I'm no expert.

If her body was indeed in the suitcases mentioned, she was likely driven north, to West New York, rather than south.

The tattoo reconstructions show the body must have been intact enough for them to copy.
I wonder if the fridge was found in an abandoned dwelling or just dumped? I also wonder who found it.

Perhaps she was killed, frozen all that time and the appliance only recently dumped.

Wow great digging. Looks like a good candidate.

I clipped and rotated the pendant to be the right way up, because I got tired of tilting my head. I figured it might make it easier for those of us trying to identify the constellation.

There are similarities, but if it's meant to be the Pleiades, the creator made some alignment errors. I also count eight 'stars' on the questioned pendant, not seven.
I counted the big star as the sun

If you look up constellation necklaces on google, it's common among this style of punched pendant for the big star to represent the brightest stars in the constellation, for example, Antares and Shaula in Scorpius.

True, until someone sees a refrigerator in the middle of the woods and says, "WTH..."
Others may say "WTH...?" when they run across a fridge in the middle of the woods... I'd say "I ain't lookin' inside that".

I did a quick Google Lens search but didn’t come up with any exact matches (except the post from the NJ State Police looking to identify this victim).

My thoughts -
* Constellation pendant necklace - none of the general Zodiac signs seem to match exactly, but it looks like a pendant can be designed based on your exact birthday. I’d love to hear from someone into this. Are birth date constellation patterns specific to a month/day or do they get even more specific with year and possibly even with approximate time of birth?

* If it is based on a Zodiac sign, could it be Pisces? Just thinking this because of the Koi fish tattoo.

* The koi fish may not necessarily represent Pisces for this victim as I also found this -
