My thoughts exactly! That was a very powerful comment, to me. Not knowing "how far this went" or didn't want his family to get hurt!!!! Is this going to be a line of questioning?

"The truck was gone...I went through the whole hangar," recalls Jennings. Says he was told to mind his own business by son in law #Millard

Okay, did SS cut some kind of deal?

I was thinking the same. There's no way he could tip off DM and LE not be all over him for an accessory
He had to cut some kind of deal, I hope he's called to the stand today and is a witness.

There's something about him though, I feel he's the kind of person to lie under oath. It's almost like DM has some
kind of hold over him. I wonder how close these two were or what he knew. Going to Baja together, they were like besties it seems.
And then to tip him off on what Jennings knew.
With someone like DM, from what we've been able to piece together, he doesn't have many true "friends"
I'm wondering if he was the right hand man, and the closest person to DM to which he confided. MOO

#TimBosma - Jennings says "closer to May" the main project at Millardair was building a trailer Dellen Millard wanted by a certain time.

Thank you so much for taking on the huge task of reporting this trial. You are all greatly appreciated!! It certainly can't be easy sitting in that courtroom. You are honourable.

I would assume if he's being called today, he wouldn't be lying for DM since it's for the Crown. Would be a stupid move.

There has to be something going on in the background. There just seems to be too much shady stuff going on here.

Back into Fri. May 10. When he got there that morning the the truck was gone. The tarp too. #Bosma

Was that ever mentioned as having been found at mom's house in the trailer?

Here's a photo of Arthur Jennings, who was doing his work co op at Millard Air. He's testifying today. #TimBosma

It would be I agree, but we all know none of them were very bright IMO

Ya, from day 1 most of us thought SS knew more. This to me says SS told DM what Jennings knew.
The fact SS would tip DM off makes me sick

Wonder if SS is still Jenning's SIL? (not that it really pertains to the case, but how do you get past that in a family?)

But what size and kind of trailer were they working on? Two trucks. Two trailers. Two Jeeps. Baha!! Maybe AM was driving his own car this time. ;)

An electric bike would be good for tooling around down there too. :)

MOO

remind me who AM is.....

Wow, I'm trying to put myself in Arthur Jennings' shoes and I'm having a hard time with the fact that he didn't immediately tell them where Tim's truck was located. Wow again! But then human nature being what it is, I guess the need for self preservation borne out of fear and confusion overrides common sense.

I sense that he was extremely afraid and knew that Dellen was shady. Why else would he think immediately upon seeing the truck in the hangar think that it was possibly Tim's? Why else would he wait until he talked to his family to decide what to do?

I think, had it been me, once I heard who's truck it was, I would have told them immediately where it was and if I was THAT scared asked for some type of protection. I would have left the building immediately, but then my SIL didn't work there. He was in a predicament I think.

back in the beginning of the investigation.....wasn't the idea of a drug ring and/or chop shop thrown around? AFAIK no proof was ever found of that......but lots of stuff is coming to light now....wonder if there was ever an investigation into this or if they were focused only on the murder investigation?

Could this have been a trailer that would fit say perhaps a Harley? (Can't remember what the time frame was on that re-registered trailer)

I have a feeling that they will come into play in "other" trials that will be coming forth in the next little while. LOL

I just can't get my head around the idea that this guy (SS) likely KNEW that was Tim's truck (possibly even before his FIL told him crimestoppers confirmed it), and told DM what his FIL did. I mean, how much of a creep do you have to be, to rat out your own family to the guy in possession of a MISSING MAN's stolen truck?! Even if SS didn't know previously it was Tim's, he sure knew that day - and STILL bagged on his own family, to DM.

I just... ugh. Holy cow. :gaah:

I liked the "No, absolutely not" response on if anything to do with airplanes was actually happening in the hangar.

I would hazard a guess that the Crown had the contractors and the trailers mentioned as a segue to the chop shop theory. JMO

I think that a lot of this is going to play out in the trials that come after this trial. I always felt that it was a very complex investigation and that they had to go to trial with Bosma first because they would be proving certain things that would factor into the trials for Wayne Millard and Laura Babcock and that it couldn't be done the other way around.

Proving certain things with Bosma and obtaining convictions will make the other trials go easier and possibly quicker as they are intertwined.

Agreed. But my mind starts to wander in a different direction when I heard "Colombian contractors" and details about trailers being built and his trips to Mexico...

On another note...DM's lawyer focused in on DM not hiding the truck. Based on what we are hearing about SS from FIL, and other details about DM....I have a feeling that he felt like that hangar was his safe zone. All his people in cahoots with him. No risk. He was weary of FIL because he wasn't tested over time. He probably only let him in because SS vouched for him. But overall he felt like having that truck in the middle of that hangar was the equivalent of having it buried 10 feet under ground. If I had to bet I would put my money on EVERYONE in that hangar (other than FIL) knew exactly what was sitting there. MOO
