Jennings would show up at #Millard Air and wait for his SIL, Shane to show up, unlock doors and let him in.

Jennings started placement at #Millard Air in Feb 2013. "Do whatever was needed to do. Free labour," is how he describes his responsibility.

Here's showing the Millard way...frugal. Just saying and MOO.

We know he gave a pvr to his girlfriend with the surveillance. I can't remember if that was before the 9th or after....maybe it was the same night they moved the truck so maybe it was on there.

Yes, DM gave CN the DVR on May 9th when they were en route to Kleinburg to drop off the truck.

Photos of missing man #TimBosma's truck secretly taken by worker at Dellen Millard's hanger, who saw truck on tarp:

I wish we could see the other side. I'm curious about the shot out window. I wonder why all the doors are open. Airing it out?

Build an electric bike using Harley parts with ground off serial number...:hilarious: Sorry couldn't resist. MOO.

I think the bigger question is why would he want his "employees" to build an electric bike when he could have bought one for a thousand bucks? A used one for way less. Seems he doesn't like to buy new things, he likes to "build" things, including cars, trucks and trailers. Again, why not go out and buy a new trailer? Why pay your friends to build one? Or steal one as in the case of the Harley trailer.

Yep...why pay for it when you can get it for free?

Now that we know it was SS's father-in-law who took the photos and called Crimestoppers, is it logical to conclude that SS was the "mechanic/employee" DM instructed to "remove the decals and other identifiers from the truck" (per Crown's opening statement)?

Would identifiers include the VIN? Is that something this "mechanic/employee" was used to doing for his boss?

I feel like we heard about removed VIN numbers during the raid that located the stolen Harley (among other stuff). Good thing they hadn't got to it yet on Tim's truck.

Not exactly free. He clocked up the required hours and was no doubt given a reference for doing so. A lot of placements are not paid placements from my understanding.

DM should have stolen ebikes instead of big trucks. Way easier to steal them than to build them.

I think his connection to DM and people giving tips to LE meant they had his name for at least a few days before he was arrested. Confirming it was the second guy with IT by showing him some mugshots and having him pick MS out would just confirm this suspicion.

MOO

From the opening statement:

At the time of the arrest of Dellen Millard for first degree murder the police were focussed on Mark Smich as the second person involved...

I wonder if LE ever checked the VIN on the red truck to find out if he actually bought that. I didn't notice it up for sale with all the other vehicles. What happened to it?

You can just push the owners off them instead of shooting and killing them. :bicycle:

hmmm that truck was owned by the company too rather than in his name, IIRC.

Now that you say that I recall that too in earlier days. Russian

About Igor - I think there was a picture or a video of him when an "ambition" tattoo came into a light.

That's very interesting..I had not thought of that. Wonder why that was not brought up in testimony?

<modsnip>Is SS name in writing anywhere? I seem to remember looking him up in the beginning and discovering it was someone my son knows... if it's the same person.

I believe he was referred to as Shane in media tweets today, don't know last name.

Some owners are dangerous too.

A man from the Hamilton area is facing a second-degree murder charge after police say he killed someone who appeared to be stealing a truck from his driveway....
Hamilton lawyer Derek Martin has been asked to represent Khill. Martin says he expects there will eventually be a trial.
