Sounds like the witness does leave the stand when the jury is sent out.

Millard's uncle talking about a conversation with a friend and his nephew going into pet cremation #Bosma

Jury and Burns being called back. Burns says he never discussed going into cremation business with Millard "or his entourage."

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
"I was blown away," to hear that. Dell brought in cats belonging to girlfriends and once his own dog. Easter 2013 saw Dell with girlfriend.

Crown: Were you shocked to hear Dellen Millard may be going into pet cremation business? Uncle: Absolutely blown away #Millard #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 40s40 seconds ago
Dell called clinic to get uncle's number. Burns was in France. Burns called him from France and no mention made of incineration.

The topic of the use or purchase of an incinerator never came up, Millard's uncle tells the jury #Bosma #Millard

Uncle says he saw Millard in July 2012. He said the topic of pet cremation never came up. #Millard #Bosma

I assume the crown asking "why were you blown away" was what the defence was objecting to.

IMO, this line of questioning about DM's potential pet cremation business makes me think back to DM's comments about how everyone got things so wrong and when everything came out it would be obvious (paraphrasing here).

Again, as per my previous post #168: I get the impression DM rates himself as brilliant, gifted, and untouchable, and I think he's dead wrong on all counts, IMO.

All MOO.

I believe there were grommets in the incinerator as well .. will look for a link.

And SS lives in Brantford. We have not had a Cambridge address come into play until today. Was testified it was a bungalow.

I was able to find the testimony but don't know how to post it here. I took a photo of it.

hmmm wonder why Pillay never crossed?..maybe talked with Millard?

I believe it was a CD making a call to DM. We speculated DM wanted to know how to get rid of the security video from the hangar.

Thank you! :)

I've been updating the consolidated timeline today. I have still have lots to add but the cell activity is mostly complete for May 6 to May 10. You can view it here:

JMO, but I'd think if the witness was excused, the reports would say "jury and witness being brought in and out" Also that the legal arguments during the objection would include witness. He's the one answering the question and the judge would inform him what he can and can't say.

ETA: Nevermind..question answered bottom of last page

From Feb 18 Star:

Rogers also testified about the detailed grid search of two “burn sites” on the farm. A tent was erected around the two circular sites — which reeked of gasoline — as a team of anthropology students combed the charred sections of corn field looking for evidence.

In addition to three seatbelts — which the jury saw Wednesday — they also found grommets, a metal spring, glass, burned wood, a partially melted plastic bottle and coins.

ok. that's what I thought....but couldn't find it. So his wife was the bookkeeper. So we HAVE heard his name before....despite what the reporter said.....MOO

The reporter didn't say that .. it was a tweet @mollyhayes.

I don't see many homes on Maple Grove Road. Mostly businesses / farm buildings. But there is an "Old Maple Grove Road" just south of Maple Grove. Just east of Hespeler Road.

Interesting. One thing that sticks out to me is that DM probably slept during the day/afternoon on the 7th and 8th, which makes sense. But the 9th was a long, long day for him.

This is very interesting, and very nice work. I am glad that you are updating us because there has been talk on the thread of how some people wish this spreadsheet existed - they don't know! Bookmarked!

Thank you for putting in the time and effort. You have a real talent for making order of a mess of info.

Looks like LE had him in sleep deprivation mode most of the week though ;)

I guess that's how you end up caught with disposable gloves with your victim's DNA on them - 4 days after the murder. No longer thinking straight.

If the witness was there and could hear WHY it was being argued, they could think of some other way to say what they may have originally. Biased answer. It's in everyone's best interest that they be away along with the jury.

Saw the edit, just adding :)

That was on the ground, we're talking about inside the incinerator. Which was what that testimony said. (thank you Tiggertoo)

So the answer is there were grommets both in the incinerator and at the burn site on the ground.

Is it strange that Burns didn't ask DM about the incinerator when he saw him? He said DM never mentioned it. But he also didn't ask? I wonder if that was intentional on his part, somehow, someway.

A Canada reverse addy search does bring up about 15 names and residential addresses on Maple Grove Road in Cambridge. No names that we've hard before in relation to this case.
