Baha was spring 2011. Got there in red Dodge Ram, towed jeep in trailer. #bosma A diesel truck would have cost less to fuel, they decided.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 1m1 minute ago
The truck had a gas engine. Schlatman mentioned several times a diesel would've been better. stopping every few hours to fill up. #Bosma

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 1m1 minute ago Vaughan, Ontario
Schlatman says he told Millard a Diesel would be better, cheaper option. Millard said he was looking into getting one, to go down to Baja

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 23s24 seconds ago
Schlatman says he never looked for a diesel truck for Millard. They didn't do well at Baha. 15 miles in a tree damaged truck and they quit.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 21s21 seconds ago

BBM

I find the statement that he was a friend but didn't hang out with him odd. Isn't going all the way to Mexico with your friend, hanging out. What I do with my friends is hang out. Isn't that what you do?

MOO He's trying to distance himself from DM to save his skin. Buddies talk to each other when they're hanging out. So he's a friend but kinda, not really. It was more of a work friendship?

Interesting.

Schlatman says he was married in 2012, and Millard was invited to the wedding
He had also been at Millard's home in Etobicoke "a few times."
The Baja, Mexico race was in the spring of 2011.
"Dell had a large car trailer and a red Dodge Ram with a gas engine in it," Schlatman says. The gas engine was "very expensive" to drive down to the race. "I mentioned many times a diesel would have been much more efficient."
"He also agreed that it probably would be."
"He was considering looking to find a diesel truck," Schlatman says.
"We didn't do so well," Schlatman says. "About 15 miles in -- a tree took the ignition off the engine and the engine quit." The trip took about three and a half weeks.

Schlatman says he was on the farm probably 100 times.

Baja race ended when tree took out jeep engine. #Millard brought back a street dog & named it "Pedo." All got Desert Baja tattoos. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 52s52 seconds ago
Schlatman was at Millard farm often. Changed motor in excavator stuck in swamp. Plan was to build garage at farm to work on vehicles.

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 1m1 minute ago Vaughan, Ontario
'It was going to be a very large building to work on the vehicles' says Schlatman. 'He had everything' cars, trucks, motorcycles #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 41s41 seconds ago
Says farm was to house another space to work on vehicles.
Cars, trucks? Crown asks.
"He had everything," Schlatman says. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 22s23 seconds ago
