exactly, SS stormed out of FIL's place. If I recall there was contact between SS and DM afterwards. There is no way SS didn't tell DM what his FIL had done and found out.

Heading home, but curious for legal-minded folks to weigh in on the issue of no warrant for her phone.

I believe this falls under probable cause.
I don't remember if dates were given in the tweets about when she was arrested. But if they had DM's phone records and sifted through them leading them to her... and the whole "hot/setup" discussion popped up, it would certainly raise some concern.

Perhaps by the 9th he was getting spooked by the way the case was taking off and he knew it was going to be next to impossible to pass off TB's truck as his own as he was involving too many people. So the whole plan was aborted and he went into CYA mode. Do you really think he had anyone in mind yet when he claimed "someone he worked with was setting him up"? You have to remember how these sociopaths work. They keep lying on the fly...even when it makes no sense.

What was that? Does the Crown have proof that she did consent? Why didn't they show it? And if not, why did they ask that question? You'll notice she said "at that time no"...what does she mean by that? Did she consent at another time?

Can we expect her arresting officer to show up on the stand?

Im going to say probably. I don't think the Crown would ask that (knowing what her answer will be) if they didn't have proof to back them up. I'm sure they'll prove she is a liar just like DM. I'm sure if those texts weren't in front of her face, she'd lie about those too!

There had to be good reason why she was arrested. Maybe we will hear this as well later?!
She sounds like a real firecracker, sure she made herself bleed by resisting.
