Clicked to the next page and there it was, the new WS forum layout. Nice work. I loathe change because I'm old and grumpy, but I like this.
Now if there was just something we could do to pull that WS logo out of the 90's...

touche! I'm just not very patient :gaah:

I think we are all waiting for certain key witnesses, but over the length of the trial (is it 9 weeks??) so far most of us realize this is a slow and steady process......seems like we have a few new faces (and welcome!!) because of TD's explosive cross of SS, but that is not a normal day IMO.......

Any other confessions while we wait?

I am 100% convinced Mark Smich pulled the trigger. For him, this was the "gangsta moment" he so craved. This was his notch on the gangsta scorecard.

Think about it logically. The only reason MS has not spilled the beans and come clean is because he's the one that pulled the trigger. Otherwise, if DM pulled the trigger, I guarantee MS would volunteer to be a witness. He has no more reasons to remain loyal to DM. This is about saving one's own rear end now. Survival of the fittest. It's like a night club fire when people trample on people to get out in order to save themselves. The only reason MS is remaining quiet is because he's the trigger man. He's secretly hoping to have DM take the bulk of the blame, and somehow get a lesser sentence for himself.

DM has already said "it's there for everyone to see". I think there is some truth in that.

However, DM and MS are equally guilty of 1st degree murder, without any doubt in my mind. Neither one should be considered less culpable. Both are equally guilty.

We do not need MS or DM to tell us the "truth". The evidence and common logic tells us everything we need to know.

Put them away forever.

Godwin's Law

Godwin's law (or Godwin's rule of Nazi analogies) is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches"—that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler or Nazism.

Interesting post billandrew......I guess we are there alright as an online group. What is bothersome about talk of killing, incinerators and Hilter's gun....sounds like that's where DM was too.

Any other confessions while we wait?

I once changed the date on the milk carton so my kids would drink it a day after the best before date. I mean it was perfectly good milk yet they refuse to touch it after that magical date arrives. For note...they are all alive and healthy.

Me too! I'd like to get to the 'meat and potatoes' of the trial, nevermind all this side dish stuff.

Yeah, if we're going to put off real work for websleuthing this trial, we need more interesting stuff to justify us.

hmmm good theory, Webulls. Didn't think of MS's predicament that way. I chalk it up to your last point - doesn't matter, if they did it (innocent until proven guilty, and all that...) they are both equally guilty. Doesn't matter who pulled the trigger, they both appear to have been equally involved in covering it up.

Sorry, that made me lol. Reminded me of the days playing in the hay loft shooting bb's at one another.

I am am totally shocked that we did not hear tails (I meant tales :) )of all the cats and dogs that Dell dispatched as a kid ???? Usually there are earlier signs of a killer in the making.

Maybe the Uncle actually got through to him as far as furry friends.....

I am a skeptic by nature so will ask: Couldn't this law apply to most topics? As an online discussion grows, the probability of many comparisons grows: Canada vs. America, Tim Hortons vs Dunkin Donuts, Trump vs ________ ( I don't follow politics)...

Agreed, but like any good drama, it would be nice to hear it and know how right or wrong our assumptions were.

Sorry of this doesn't make sense, trying to put the actions into words.

I'm taking DM's glances, snickers and smiles at MS as "you dumb a$$" (kind of like a finger point without words or disbelief that MS could do & possess such things) not so much as control or intimidation, in the hopes the Jury sees his actions and doubts his inolvement. Seriously, with all the incriminating evidence so far, what else does he have left to convince the Jury with?!

The waving and big smiles to witnesses like they are his buddies, is just showing his child-like behaviour and cockiness. Someone a few discussions ago mentioned DM possibly being ADD/ADHD...although I'm thinking a differnt disorder, I do wonder if he's ever been seen by a psychiatrist.

It absolutely does...the concept of Godwin's Law arose on forums in the first place, and basically says all discussions inevitably get heated to the point that someone calls someone else Hitler, and it's considered a cheap way to inflame an argument, IMO.

TD tried to start a flame war with the gun expert ;)

Totally agree with your reasoning. Just for the record, I have always thought MS pulled the trigger, DM orchestrated all the other nasty stuff.
Well, now there's 2 of us.

In fairness, TD did not equate the expert with Hitler, he only stated that the type of gun they were discussing is the type Hitler used to kill himself, unless I missed something.

All MOO.

I have a feeling there won't be much more work for me copying the blog before lunch break at the rate this is going.

I once changed the date on the milk carton so my kids would drink it a day after the best before date. I mean it was perfectly good milk yet they refuse to touch it after that magical date arrives. For note...they are all alive and healthy.

The mention of milk reminded me of something I did when I was a teenager. Please note that I happen to LOOOOOOVE buttermilk. Well it just so happened that when I was a young, red-headed lass of 16 my mother would go out and buy that wonderful elixir of life but she would never share it with me. When I found a 1 litre container unopened in the fridge and her not home, I did the only thing I could do. I drank that sucker. The whole litre. Then I rinsed out the container with water, filled it and before putting it back in the fridge re-glued the top.

The next day when I got home from school, she was not in a happy mood. Too bad I missed the look on her face when she poured it into a glass. Heehee! :happydance:
