No doubt in my mind this attire choice was 100% at the suggestion of MS defense. It's a mind-game because MM is about to testify for the Crown. Let's hope it doesn't work on her.

Is it probable that MS would change his attire in an attempt to influence MM? For example, the yellow dress shirt could be a reminder of a past event that they both were fond of...
(I would prefer that the accused be forced to wear orange aka OJ Simpson, or the cliche zebra stripe pajamas)

I was thinking the same kind of thing. It could be her favourite colour. Something to make her feel sentimental when she sees him. I wonder what she will think of his new appearance since everyone that knew him says he looks totally different.

"It's up to you to decide whether or not Mark Smich made that statement to her," Goodman says, adding they cannot use it to make a decision about Dellen Millard.

Could be a MS choice as well rather than the less 'cool' white shirt and cardigan. There's lots of anecdotes out there that suggest defendants and witnesses in these situations still want to 'look good' to their former flames.
