These folks are not that sophisticated to have a secret plan. Heck, MS didn't even make sure his phone was fully charged.

MOO

Which, to me, imo, leads me to wonder if he knew ahead of time, that this would be an all-nighter, as one would expect it to be if murder was in the plans. He (MS) and MM were constantly communicating.. and MM also was aware that the two would be stealing a truck. It is no wonder that she was completely freaked out by the next morning and wondering if he was dead, having not been able to reach him. Interesting that she wondered if he was *dead*, as opposed to that they had been caught and arrested? moo

There is still the furniture and sausage text that has me 99.8% sure he knew. DM is a 100%.

Putting myself back in my dumb-teenage-self's shoes, if I knew my lowlife boyfriend was going out to steal a truck, I would definitely worry that he might be harmed or killed by the *owner* of the truck, even if I thought they were quietly taking it out of someone's driveway in the dead of night. But I'm a worrier with a good imagination, and I always have been.

Nothing beats "Andrew Malarchuk" about three hundred times a few weeks ago. Or "whatever his name is" the other day. Might have been the day after she referred to Elizabeth Meneses as Marlena's mother several times. Or maybe not. Whatever the day was.

It's GOT to be rough trying to type those tweets in so quickly and still keep up and get on to the next one without losing words. I was wondering if they have some way of adding key codes so that, for example, they might only have to press 'm' and the same word 'malarchuk' would come up, and that could be why a typo could be duplicated repeatedly?

With a lot of devices, once you type some weird word the first time or two, the device will assume that's how you want the word spelled going forward. (In short, yes, devices will 'learn' misspellings.)

Several mentioned CN could testify as early as tomorrow. Questions on that... while we wait for legal arguments...
IF CN were to testify fully and honestly, disclosing all that DM had told her and also the role that she played in assisting DM, would her own trial and charges still proceed?
As I understand it, anything she says, cannot be used against her in her own pending trial. But if she states exactly what the crown already has on her charge sheet, can that information still be used against her, or if she fesses up, does it become ineligible?

Anything that CN says on the witness stand in this trial can't be used against her in her own trial. Period. Unless in her own trial, she gets on the stand and testifies under oath that something different happened. Then she would be up on perjury charges. moo.

ETA, I think I see what you are getting at. You are wondering what happens if CN testifies in this trial, and admits everything the Crown already has on her, if then it would be deemed inadmissible evidence in her own trial. Only her *own* testimony is inadmissible. Everything the Crown has on her is still admissible. Only her own words can't be used against herself.

I missed that part... DM was crying over lunch? Was that in a tweet? Narcissists only cry for themselves...

I don't think he actually was crying. I think MsSherlock was saying that someone on DM's side was whining about something resulting in the legal arguments after lunch. MOO or MOI (interpretation)

As long as Dillon can pay his legal bills, and signs them Dellen, everything is just fine. MOO

Oh it's just because of his counsel's new nickname for him, Dillon the Villian. Or Dillon Likes Killin'. Or the Dillon I'm Billin'.

Explains why Rubikinks has been so active on social media yesterday and today. Interesting artsy shot of a wreath like illustration with a woman's face in the center, a plane on one side with a snake on the other. I still think hat this is all some kind of code.
Creepy is the Sea Enn- thinking that DM was Dee Emm...really looks like two peas in the same pod. MOO

Thanks- you interpreted correctly! :)

I heard on the radio this morning that one of the big crowd factors is that teachers are bringing their 20-30 student classes in to watch- you get a couple of those and I would imagine the available seats for normal spectators get scarce. MOO

That has happened several times during this trial.. but great day to choose to bring your class. Jeez. I wonder if they won't open up a 3rd courtroom if that is the case when CN takes the stand.

Now why wouldn't an intelligent young woman at least try to disassociate herself with this psychopath- especially considering the charges she's facing? MOO

Meneses says Smich and his mother were trying to help her get her licence. "So did Dellen," Meneses says.
by Adam Carter 12:29 PM

Meneses says the reason she was happy working at the hangar is she was with Smich.
by Adam Carter 12:31 PM

Dungey now showing a photo of a Walther PPK that was found on Smich's Blackberry. "It was Dell's gun, right?" Dungey says. "Right," Meneses says.
by Adam Carter 12:33 PM

OK, then Sir Dungey...ask your client to direct LE to where it's burried and have forensics verify your story. If it's not MS's gun and MS didn't pull the trigger, hand it over!

That's the thing.. for the money he's earning, one might have an expectation that he would memorize his client's name and pronunciation.

Took a look at CN's instagram. Honestly it looks like she's just snapping pics of random stuff trying to look artsy/deep. Who would she be sending code to, anyway? Or do prisoners in CA get access to social media? And if it's someone not in prison, surely she can just talk to them in person. :)

The jury is now being recalled.

Goodman gives the jury direction: he tells them to disregard evidence from Meneses where she talked about seeing that previous photo of the gun.
by Adam Carter 2:57 PM

"It's guesswork. It's not evidence for you to consider at this trial," Goodman says.
