I agree AP can be a bit sensationalist, however, she & Abro have the best view in the court gallery, of DM & MS's faces. I've been there & sat behind them in court...most of the other media people are seated on the opposite side of the courtroom, the other media people mostly see the backs of the accused unless the accused turns around. Perhaps when Abro joins this thread next, she can give her opinion about the look on DM's face...she & AP definitely have a good view from where they sit. MOO

I like the added info about what they're wearing and how they're reacting. Will also be good info for the movie script writers. IMO

MM knew DM shot and burned TB because MS told her that DM shot and burned TB and he had nothing to do with it. She was a little grey on whether DM or DM and MS did the incinerating. But MS's story was that "Dell did it all".

I thought that's not allowed, that it was 'hearsay'? Pretty sure the Judge spoke to that very thing before she took the stand.

She did say that DM was happy, and he said the mission was a success while in the Yukon. That's something important if her credibility about the observation holds weight with the jury.

People claim that MM was an ineffective witness, but she has killed the "maybe they killed TB by accident and it was meant to be just a theft" debate here on WS, IMO.

So if it was 'Dell's gun' and Dell did the shooting, come on MS where is it? Time to fess up and bring that piece to the table!
DM was identified holding the gun by the fingerprint expert, then MS was identified by MM in a picture also holding the gun without gloves. Evidence shows gloves were used by DM during the murder. Both MS and DM could potentially have their prints on the gun. Wrapping it in duct tape and hiding it would not necessarily imply MS pulled the trigger, but rather, shows that both MS and DM were complicit in the murder and coverup. I believe that MS act of hiding the gun helps the crown's case against both charged, but does not really help identify who pulled the trigger.

Hearsay would be MS tells AM tells MM. Then, MM did not hear from MS directly.

In this case it's MS tells MM firsthand. That is not hearsay.

I think MS killed that with his fireside furniture and sizzling sausages. Most costly text he'll ever send in his life.

Kinda contradicts his "I didn't do anything, I wasn't even there" comments. ;) MOO

She did, but will it be enough along with all the other evidence to get MS for premeditated. She is now agreeing with Dungey that MS thought it was only a paid theft job? Or do we just choose from her multiple answers to the same question the one that fits our selected outcome?

The key for me is how the jury weighs her comment about their mood in the Yukon. This is the "Bazinga" she brought to this trial. Hopefully it gets the weight of gold with this jury.

The one MM is still friends with. Hopefully she is not being fooled again. Even AM claimed he didn't know many classy girls, and needed to ditch his date when DM called.

It does make me wonder about MM saying it was her idea to get the pound of pot from DM's. She didn't answer that with a "yes" or a "no", she added why she wanted it. While during AM's testimony he said MS called and ordered him to get the pot to him, and that he was angry. He even went as far as to acknowledge he was scared of MS. Maybe AM did get the memo?

Of course, it could be SS who CN was to convince. After all, DM did text that the knowledge of the GPS should remain among the three amigos, DM, MS, and SS. So SS was trusted with knowledge that others were not.

I am sure it will be revealed this week.

Just wondering.. because I am nowhere near caught up on all of the posts (and likely never will be!).. has it been said that CN will be on the stand this week? I was thinking the legal teams would have another day of legal arguments without the jury's presence on the day (or two?) before CN takes the stand? Or are they all set now to just proceed directly into CN's testimony? If TD finishes up with MM today, and they have a day of legal args tomorrow.. that only leaves Thursday remaining for this week.. just wondering.. because I'd like to see CN on the stand for sure.. I think they're going to have to set up a 3rd courtroom to accommodate everyone though!

The weird thing, for me, imo, is that on the video where it shows the Yukon arriving to pick up MM on May 7th.. MS gets out.. his gait doesn't seem all that revved up and jovial to me.. and then he goes to the door where MM is (presumably), and takes a bit longer than one would expect if he was just showing his face for her to let her know they had arrived... and then walks back to the vehicle, opens the door for her.. they get in.. and I guess we aren't able to see their facial expressions/demeanours on the video as they drive away. They had also been up all night, and presumably pretty busy. It would be nice if MM would elaborate more as to what exactly was SAID inside the vehicle that morning, like a play by play, rather than just that they were happy. Then.. didn't MS and MM get dropped of at MS's house? What about then? Was the mood jovial then? What was said then? Why is so much stuff being not talked about?

I heard as early as tomorrow. But we will have the LE officer first.

A paid theft job means that there was a plan/agreement in place which means premeditation. Just because MS was paid, it doesn't make him less culpable. In fact it provides motive.

The Crown intended to prove that the two acted together to commit this crime. I don't think the breakdown of who exactly did what is that meaningful. It's the end result: TB murdered, incinerated, his truck taken, that matters. It took two.

The Crown, DM's D and TD all went over this period. They were described as hyper, bouncing, excited, happy, celebrating in the truck. After MS and MM got to MS's mom's place, they didn't talk about it anymore that day.

Particularly on the stand. 'Ask me a leading question and I will give you the answer you want to hear'.

yep pretty pathetic..why she would still be covering for him is beyond me..maybe she still loves him and is hoping that if he is not convicted they will still be together.

Judge is giving the jury instructions about things witnesses are told. For ex. What Mark Smich told a witness can only be used in... Apr 21, 2016
...reaching a decision about Mark Smich. Not Dellen Millard--even if the statement was about him. #Bosma Apr 21, 2016
So put simply, they can use that kind of evidence to find Smich not guilty--but not to find Millard guilty (and vice versa). #Bosma Apr 21, 2016

Yes, I went through that video frame by frame, and I don't see "happy", but it's not conclusive. She did mention that they were happy as soon as the got in the Yukon. There is something very off with her statements that I can't attribute to age, drugs, or abuse.

Yes, but wouldn't it be nice to also put with that description, what was *said* during these excited bounces?

"They both told me that the mission went well." She doesn't remember if it was "pacifically" Dellen who told her that. #Bosma

MM said "pacifically" instead of "specifically" on the stand today. MS had the word "pacific" written on his shoes at the beginning of the trial. Coincidence? Or some kind of code between them?
