If MB isn't a witness, the. Why hasn't she gone to court to support her son? The only thing u can think of is maybe she's a witness to one of the other murders and she cannot be around DM?

She could be testifying for the defence in which case she would not be allowed in the courtroom until after she testified.

She says she constructed notes from her phone "weeks after this." She says she has reviewed them. She says there's no reference to her text to Smich in there.
by Adam Carter 11:10 AM

I thought her phone was stolen a couple months later????

When CN and MB went to DM's house for cash and cheques, was AM there putting the drugs in a backpack?

I found the whole part around the flurry of text when she finished work on the 10th confusing.

Pacifically:happydance:

What time did MS call AM and told him DM was arrested?
What time did CN call AM and ask if Dellen was there?

I thought MS called AM at 9:20 pm

She claims to get off work at 9:15pm, Did she call AM after he spoke with MS?

She says she then called Andrew Michalski to see if he went home because of their late night. Michalski said no. #Bosma

Or she has taken the 'emergency funds' and real estate proceeds to buy a new residence in the Bahamas.

Simply incredible. Was everyone in DM's life crooked? So they start to think maybe the truck is in the trailer so their first thought isn't to call police...it is to go back and wipe their prints off the trailer??? You think the truck could be in there so you are essentially tampering with evidence. Call the police and tell them they will likely find your prints. This is all BS. They knew what was in that trailer and they weren't wiping their own prints off...they were wiping DM's off for him! Why was "Madeleine" not called to testify???? MOO

TD may still call her in.

Again, we don't know exactly how much she knew. She was probably in shock at that point. Maybe not. Who knows?

Why is she being given the benefit of the doubt that maybe she didn't know? Everyone else on the stand that "didn't know" or didn't call police fast enough has had no benefit of the doubt given? Why should MB be treated any different?

The next day she wrote him,

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews Apr 19
1:08pm rabbit says "Hi Lam.... Winnie the poo's got his bum stuck in my warren... lol should I be looking for antlers to decorate???"

So after a night of tears and wine, she got all cute.

She knew he was in jail at this point too and was texting him still. My mind is so blown by all these "people".

Can't believe how harsh you were on MM and how generous you are to MB.

I don't think that would be why, because a no-contact order, I believe, would mean she can't have contact with him, ie visits, conversations, communications. But to be a court spectator is not contact. I wonder WHY MB was not called as a witness? That is peculiar to me. But I suppose the Crown may have believed (and rightfully so) that they have enough evidence withOUT her testimony, which they undoubtedly knew would be fraught with this type of thing? No idea why she wouldn't be in court in support of her only child, and especially if she believed in his innocence.

Could it be that she is truly that selfish that her own reputation is more important to her than supporting her son? I can see NOT supporting your son, and NOT putting your own reputation at risk, if your son was obviously, through evidence, guilty, and the son refused to accept any responsibility for it, and continued to deny any involvement (like wildly denying and claiming it would be akin to saying he'd gone to the moon)... then let him get his lumps on his own. But to be perceived as so involved in trying to protect him, one gets the impression that she believes in his innocence. So, where is she?

all moo

Was that on the 11th?

MB sent the Winnie the Pooh text on the 10th, earlier in the day. Millard was arrested later that evening.

IMO, I don't think CN knows the fire she is playing with by now being declared a hostile witness.

Let's think of her claims saying evidence is wrong this morning so far...
- the cell phone records are not true
- her notes were taken and put out of order to mix up the dates

I know there is more but my mind is so blown that I can't think of them. Add them in if you think of more.

Sorry yes, you are right.

Although I do not give MB a total pass, I do deeply believe there is nothing like a mother's love for her child, no greater instinct to protect, no matter what. I have no idea (and of course, i'm sure just as MB was, that my child would never commit murder) what i would do in a situation like this. I for sure would not want to believe what I was hearing on the news, and from CN, and I can see trying to come up with every scenario in my mind where my child was innocent and caught up all by some extreme unfortunate set of events. I hope that I would do the right thing, as sometimes as tuff as that may be concerning your child...it does equal love.

That being said it sure seems like they both went into cover mode really fast. Also if I thought there was possibly a missing man in a trailer in my driveway, I do think I would contact the lawyer, if not the police directly and have someone come immediately to check the trailer. If there was any chance there was a live man bound inside and I could possibly save him.....which would equal saving my child from murder charges. So this tells me they were positive Tim was not inside...

Nope. They checked into a hotel, drank some wine, brainstormed about tampering with evidence, tampered with evidence, then drank more wine.

At least the "Mother's Day gift" narrative has disappeared today.
Don't forget spoke to a lawyer.

The tweet says it was sent at 1 pm and the trailer wasn't there at MB's at 1 pm on the 10th. Has to be (typo) 1 am or the next day.

ETA: 1 am would be the next day too.

Can someone give an example of how CN being a hostile witness will open the floor for the Crown? What's a possible "leading question" that they will be able to ask? TIA.
