For those asking about MB and why she has not been called to witness or to court, I was thinking about her absence today. There has been no word of her and I wondered if she might have left the country before she could be subpoenaed...... JMO

I'm sure those undercover cops, not beat cops, know where she is. Check out your local wine store. :drink:

Or DM could have been manipulating via the pen. If he says AM was not told anything......then that would mean if AM did talk, it would be made up lies? DM could have been way ahead of the game. He had plenty of time to think about this while he looked at his cinder blocks. Bet he is counting them now.

But that is the thing. These letters were meant only for CN's eyes. They weren't meant to be read in court. They have to be read with the mindset that only CN was supposed to see them. Otherwise the words can definitely be misconstrued and put in a different context.

So he wasn't saying AM knew nothing for the sake of others who would eventually read this. He was ranting to CN that AM knew nothing and what he did know, he told police and it was the most damning thing to DM's case.

MOO.

But it seems Mama Rabbit was pretty manipulative too. JMO

Wondering if she was at Maple Gate for 45 min with $6,000 to get AM to change his testimony after DM blubbered, "It all rests in AM's hands..." IMO

I for one don't care if it is first or second. (or more accurately I take comfort that they will at least be found guilty of second - neither one brought Tim to the hospital - they intended for him to die as soon as they shot him. It doesn't matter who pulled the trigger - if the situation was bad enough in their eyes to shoot him, then they wanted him dead) . They both will have life sentences. The difference is earliest chance at parole. This link below says that is at judge's discretion - which I hope will be 25 years. all my opinion.

And now MS won't have to do anymore couch surfing. IMO

The next day she wrote him,

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews Apr 19
1:08pm rabbit says "Hi Lam.... Winnie the poo's got his bum stuck in my warren... lol should I be looking for antlers to decorate???"

So after a night of tears and wine, she got all cute.

"Acting" naive/dumb I call it....pretty sly.

Have we ever heard as to whether MB had keys or the code to get into the hangar? Did CN and MB make a quick trip to the hangar and remove the DVR or other incriminating evidence that night? CN said it was DM who gave the DVR to her, but I've always wonder why he just didn't dispose of it or give it to MH along with the toolbox if he felt it contained damaging evidence on it. I could see DM unplugging it rather than removing it. In reality if the only evidence LE were able to retrieve from it was the scant video of the two accused inside the hangar, one would think they could have easily argued away it was not uncommon for them to be at the hangar on any given night/morning around that time. DM supposedly stayed some nights at the hangar. I just never understood why DM removed it because it's not like it captured them doing anything more than a brief glimpse of them and Pedo walking in that area of the hangar.

We still haven't found out the significance of the water hose on Riverside nor the one bathroom which Leitch had made mention of. ALL MOO.

I think MSs apparent shoulder injury, combined with DMs need to always be the one in control, point to DM being the shooter. He's the one who still had possession of the gun, he was the one going to extra lengths to hide evidence, he's the one who involved his GF and mother in the coverup(IMO). To me based on everything I've heard, points to DM being the shooter. I don't think he would have trusted MS not to screw it up IMO.

Which gun......as url above says when you read it....there was two guns.....So....it is possible that DM did not even have gun on him. MS saying "I f..k'd up...i f..k'd up" read this news article. This article is the bomb in my opinion.

maybe the 6000 and weed had more to do with CN helping DM escape to Mexico.?

Finally made it through 54 pages of today. Wow these letters are incriminating.
Thanks to those who posted the tweets again.

She says she never actually went to Michalski though. "I weighed the pros and cons." She even wrote them down. Threw that out.

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 1m1 minute ago
"The cons outweighed the pros" of going to Michalski and asking him to change testimony.

BBM

Throughout this case, LE, the crown and Tony Leitch have been fantastic, and today invoking the "hostile witness" chapter was great.
Today, it was proven that the PROs outweighed the CONS.:dance:

And the hero of the day is AM for not bowing down to DM, and for saying what he did. IMO

  • #812
My guess is she started getting more comments on it like the one she got last night and clued into it not being a great idea to leave an open door for people to contact her when your name is trending and you don't have a lot of fans these days. jmo

Is instagram like youtube in that you can make money from a certain amount of subscribers or hits? If so IMO CN will be leaving it open.....

I wonder if MB helped coach DM in what to write in his letters since she was the go-between. e.g. love, babies, etc

That is a good possibility.

  • #814
The letters show how manipulative DM is. Telling her that he wants her to be the mother of his kids. Revealing that he "loves" her. Ridiculous.

I wonder when it occurred to her that she was being played? He was more lovey dovey with his boyfriend who he had no trouble declaring undying love for. And those exchanges sounded like a mother patting sonny on the behind, saying "love you" as she sends him off to the school he hates. That's what he said to MS as he was grooming him for a mission. I found it interesting what a malingerer MS was when it came to these murders. Always getting "sick" and complaining like an old man about his aches.
I don't think DM had the Manson charisma to get women to blindly do his bidding. What a transparent cliche to want her baby ....now that he's in jail!!!

From what the judge said about it and what would make sense, my opinion is that is mostly relates to his other charges which can not be shared with the jury during this trial.

I agree with you, so hope you didn't think i was attempting to contradict you. That is indeed the most likely scenario, but not the only one. A judge may order material to be redacted for various reasons, but protecting the identity or personal information of third parties not directly involved in the case before the court is definitely one, though perhaps less frequent (I don't know of any statistics). My example wasn't a good one, but I have a better. There were numerous such examples in the Truscott case, both in the original trial documents and evidence, and in the material submitted to the Court of Appeal for its deliberations which resulted in Truscott's acquittal in 2007. All of this material -- thousands of pages -- was online for a time. I found police reports abut other suspects witnesses had seen in the area, possibly with the murdered girl, or ones whose car matched the description of the vehicle in which she accepted a ride, etc. The names of these people who were interviewed by local police (very briefly -- the "investigation" took less than 48 hours)were redacted, but with 1950's era markers, not higher tech tools like today. I puzzled over the name of one character who really did sound as though he should have been investigated, and worked it out to a couple of possibilities, based on the parts of the letters left visible. Other evidence, including sworn statements, had names, addresses and similar information redacted out in some cases.

As I said, I have no reason to think that applied in this case, but it is a possibility for some redacted material.

The crabapple probably doesn't fall too far from the hollow tree.

IMO MS did screw it up and DM was forced to try and deal with the cover up. DM has designating disease. He does not want to have to deal with manual labour involved with his incompetent employee MS. So he got his mom and gf to help him. As DM is lazy. Doesn't like it when things get complicated. Didn't want to take over the family business from his aging father. Just wanted the money to have fun.

I example.....there was a case where the murderer said he would tell the family where the body was for a reduced sentence....can't remember but it may have been to have his sentence reduced from first degree to something else.

I don't think this the case you're thinking of, but Clifford Olson did make a deal where he got cash for telling police where to find the bodies of his victims. See the whole ghastly story here:

Says he was kept naked, treated like Hannibal Lecter, only bread and jam to eat. On psych watch. Doctor called him "enigma."

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 2m2 minutes ago
He talks about a doctors assessment. Says in trying to break his spirit the dr "hardened me. Like carbon turned to diamond." #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 2m2 minutes ago
Millard says he was crying in cell when he looked down at his tattoo "I am heaven sent. Don't you dare forget." Millard says he then smiled

So, he was on psych watch right from the get go. Suicide watch? Would they have actually kept him naked or is that just Dell being Dell? The mention of jam and bread right after that makes me think he's practicing his usual creative writing skills.

I was blown away by the reading of the letters today. There's lots of incriminating evidence in them as well as some really crazy stuff. A bit of a view into his psyche. The line about going from crying to smiling after looking at his tat is hilarious!

I'm suspecting it's Maddies retirement fund paying for all this. Until last night. Hence the turn of the worm today. JMO of course.

CN's parents are both medical professionals, so I don't know why they would not be able to hire a lawyer. Not Brian Greenspan maybe, but a competent lawyer. They might have to go into serious debt to do so, as Guy Paul Morin's did.
