@susanclairmont Do her tone/delivery still convey this disrespect? It's hard to ascertain feeling from written words alone.

While we wait... CN's timeline the night of the 9th had them heading back from Waterloo quite early. Just after midnight? 15 minutes at the hangar and 15 minutes at the farm. Then the Crown showed through cell phone pings they were in Milton around 3 a.m.

I assume that was to line up with the timing of DM dropping off the toolbox. But... CN's timeline was off by almost 3 hours. The Crown tried very hard to get her to say they used the flashlight. Does anyone else think she helped clean out the incinerator?

Thanks for bringing that up. I've been having a heck of time trying to figure out when that was done and who was there to help do it.

Oh yes, and lots of other little duties that caused her charges.

All IMO

,,!!! Like big iishos?...Nothing like looking to a silly putty headed gangsta for tasteful design ideas!

Yep. They were CLEARLY both there. But DM is trying to make it seem like he was somewhere else and had given MS his phone. Which I believe to be 100% false. Still interesting that some people STILL believe there was a third person or that others in DM's crew were a part of this crime, when DM has basically spelled out for us how it went down. Very interesting indeed. MOO

errrrm I didn't read where he spelled out how it went down and who was involved...

While I certainly don't think MS is innocent, I still question whether or not he actually knew Tim was going to be shot.

I feel like there's a whole lot I missed, both due to missing certain days' testimony and the fact that I can't read between the lines as well as some of you can. (At least, not when it comes to following the trail of physical pieces of evidence, trucks etc. I do a little better with the psychological stuff, I guess.) The random pieces:

--The flashlight
--CN's DNA on some glove (some will remember I spent a whole night recently annoying everyone by trying to nail down the specifics of that)
--The hose
--The trashcan
--Water left running

Also, wasn't there some disallowed testimony regarding some kind of rake or tool that goes with the Eliminator?

All laid out, it does seem like Tim's ashes were scattered by CN and DM on that one night, but this didn't click for me until long after everyone else probably 'got' it.

Yes I definitely think that.

I was just coming here to post that exact tweet!

If CN was trying to be helpful and even a little honest in court after all these years, I would think she would tone down the attitude. From several reporters, I have also heard her demeanour while on the stand described as "bored".

Makes sense to me. Really no need to wear gloves when moving the incinerator, she really wouldn't have to touch it unless Millard made her hitch it to the truck (not likely). And somehow I doubt the whole "made love" when they got home and again before he left for the meeting. Seriously, millard mind must have been racing. We know they dropped the toolbox with Haggerman at 4:00 and that I believe Millard said he had to leave for the meeting at the hangar at 7:00. Seeing how its a least a half hour from Haggerman's to his place on Maplegate, my guess is he had time to drive to Riverside and dump the ashes and start the water running before dropping CN at Maplegate. If he had actually spent any time at Maplegate, something tells me he would have at least showered, but as I recall someone testified that he looked like $hit at that meeting.

She can't help or be honest, that would sink her. She's here to lie. The crown knows it and so does the defence, but for getting the letters introduced, she is the price that had to be paid.

Maybe spelled it out is the wrong terminology.....but to me he is painting a picture of what he wants CN/AM/other witnesses to say and from that I am gleaning an understanding of what did happen. His "it's murder if the guy was killed during a robbery" and "get AM to change his statement about the theft" and his insistence that MS did it and he was cleaning up his mess to me show that both DM and MS were there (and we have TONS of other evidence to support this).......maybe I'm reading too much between the lines....what are you getting from the letters?

First time posting here - sorry if I'm not doing the quotes right :s

I think I remember reading texts between MS & DM re: fireworks (fireworks tonight, no fireworks tonight - somewhere along those lines) when DM was trying to set up test drives. My first thought was fireworks referred to gunshots - I'll try find where this came up, I think it was around the same time as the sausage pics and fireside furniture pics. Stood out to me as it made me want to vomit.

If fireworks does refer to gunshots, shows premeditation on both their parts

Honestly, there is no need for DM to testify. He wrote everything down for the court.
If someone hasn't already said it, I have to say that since DM has practiced his address to the Jury, it's only fitting that the Jury see his performance! MOO

I know many members here have been around since the beginning and had to contend with DM defenders, so I get that it was likely frustrating for those long-time members who had insight into DM from the get go, IMO, but the way I look at it is that some people may have expressed their views honestly because they really didn't think DM was guilty, and not because they knew DM or had any ulterior motive to be here, IMO. OTOH, some posters, and I'm thinking of a specific few, may have been DM supporters with ulterior motives, IMO, but I can't say that is a fact, IMO.

I mention this now because I am sensitive to being labelled an "MS supporter" because I cannot yet state that I find him guilty, as most others here do, IMO. I can assure you all I only want to hear all the testimony pertaining to MS before concluding in my own mind that he is guilty as charged, and not because I have any ulterior motive. I don't know any of the people involved in this case, and my opinions are honest, even if they are not widely shared. Everyone arrives at their own conclusions in their own time, IMO. I hope members here understand my motives for being with WS and don't lump me in with those whose motives for posting here may be questionable just because I may or may not agree with the majority so far about MS.

All MOO.

You have to remember that DM was educated in French.

I agree, SnooperDuper. Not to defend his terrible spelling but there are a few words that I learned to spell in French before I knew them in English (as a child). I still spell them the French way unless I catch myself, which I normally do. For example, environment and environnement. So it's plausible that being educated in French could be part of the issue.

OMG- MB goes to a payphone and puts CN on the phone!!!! I'm sorry, but this woman should not be roaming around out in the wild!!! MOO
My question is why isn't the mother up on charges? Wiping prints. Paying people. Breaking court orders. Obstruction of justice much? How is this possible?

I'd love to know why as well.
