Millard sent Jennings home and told Smich he had to move #TimBosma's truck. They put it in the 5th wheel trailer. #TimBosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
Smich says they then moved the big car trailer inside. Took the ramps out, attached them to the back. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 5m5 minutes ago
Put #Bosma truck into trailer using ramps. "He drove the #Bosma truck into the trailer."

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
"And then he drove the #Bosma truck into the trailer," he says. Then attached trailer to red truck.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
He says as they were leaving, he forgot the frame of the burnt out seats. Turned around and went back. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 5m5 minutes ago
The trailer was then hitched to the red truck. "As we were leaving, he forgot the burned-out seats," Smich says. They turned around

On May 9 Millard went into a panic after his co-op student reported the #Bosma truck to Crimestoppers.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 6m6 minutes ago
"As we were leaving, he forgot the burned out seats. The frame for the seats." They'd left the hangar, turned back. #bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
Put the frame in the trailer. Proceeded to leave. Millard dropped Smich back in Oakville. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 5m5 minutes ago
The jury has seen video of the truck leaving, turning around, going back to hangar, and leaving again.

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 5m5 minutes ago
They had to move the truck. So they loaded it into a trailer and Millard dropped Smich off in Oakville. #Bosma

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 5m5 minutes ago Vaughan, Ontario
Smich says Millard pulled Bosma's truck into trailer... Remember Millard later left trailer at mom's house. #Bosma

He says there was blood all over the left side of Mr. #Bosma, his head. "There was a lot of...a lot of blood."

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 1m1 minute ago
Smich "I saw Mr. #Bosma laying on a sheet. There was blood all over the left side... around his head. there was a lot of blood." @CTVNews

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 2m2 minutes ago
"There was a lot of blood." #TimBosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 2m2 minutes ago
Millard then told him to open the barn door. "He rolled Mr #Bosma up in the sheet. I opened the barn door...

<rsbm> and that explains the floorboard with blood we saw coming out of the barn

Smich says this would've been nighttime now. "It was a pretty much full day on the 9th." #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 5m5 minutes ago
Left and Millard dropped him in Oakville. "It was pretty much a full day on the 9th." Dark now.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
Dungey asks if they had any conversation about arrangements to have truck painted. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 4m4 minutes ago
Had conversation on drive about Arthur Jennings. "He believed Arthur Jennings called the police on him." That's why he wanted to move truck.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
Smich says they did have a discussion but it was more about Arthur Jennings. "He said he believed Arthur called the police on him." #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 5m5 minutes ago
The conversation in the car was about Arthur Jennings. Millard believed he had called police "That's why he got in a panic." #TimBosma

Sorry but this gruesome testimony convinces me even more that MS is guilty of 1st degree murder! How and why if DM had taken MS by surprise would MS not veered off the path and headed for the nearest police station? Why would MS not have called police to report TB's murder and he could have led LE to DM right then and there?

No normal innocent person no matter how shocked would have followed DM blindly in the dead of night to his deserted farm location after having just witnessed the victim slumped over dead in the front seat of his truck and knowing that DM had just executed TB for no reason but for his desire for a truck! A normal person who had no involvement in the murder would never have trusted DM alone with himself afterwards, IMO.

All MOO.

Not saying he's telling the truth, but I absolutely disagree with you on certainty of what a "normal innocent" person would do. When people are in highly stressful, shocking, traumatic, events, or they fear for their own safety, rational decisions are usually anything but.

I'm the drive they talked about Arthur Jennings. Millard thought he called the police on him and that's why Millard was in a panic. #Bosma

"Our contact started to minimalize after the 7th," Smich says. "But I didn't want to completely diminish it or he'd get suspicious."

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
Smich says their contact then started to "minimalize." He can't recall exact words used in their contact. #Bosma

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 5m5 minutes ago
His contact with Millard dropped off after the murder Smich says.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
Dungey asks who would be contacting who. Smich says both. Dungey asks why he would maintain contact with Millard after that. #Bosma

It doesn't sound like TB's body was in the barn. They brought the incinerator out of the barn to him from what I have read. It seems like he was laying on a sheet on the ground.

I think that board has relevance but not in this trial. JMO

Smich started less contact with Millard. But not quickly because he didn't want him to get suspicious. "I was scared." #Bosma @CTVNews

Why did you not do something at that point? His lawyer asks Smich. "I.. I don't... I guess I was just scared at that time? Confused?"

Dungey: Why do you not do something? Smich struggles to find words. 'I was just scared, I was confused. I wasn't in the right state of mind'

I also have a suspicion that at least part of MS's ego was working hard to convince himself that he was now real 'gangsta'.

 • #651
The truck's key may have been chipped - unable to use the truck without it; so, not a simple car-jacking. Could that be part of the motive to kill TB?

Also, if MS was unaware that a murder might be involved, why was he following the truck?

(Sorry if this has been asked & answered.)

Dungey asks when Marlena Meneses confronts him. He says that was after Millard's arrest but there might've been a convo about the truck.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 5m5 minutes ago
Confronted by Marlena? "She might have asked home about the truck..." He thinks it was after police went to hangar.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 5m5 minutes ago
After Millard's arrest it started coming on the news. "She asked me questions and I tried telling her, w/o getting into too much detail."

You can't start most of these trucks without the chipped key. They will start and run for 20 seconds and shut down.

 • #656
I don't know what to think about MS's testimony now, but the fact that he's giving this story/version of events at all is leading me to believe he wasn't actually involved in LB's murder. Guess we'll find out.

(I understand that the two trials are technically separated, and that his testimony now isn't relevant to the LB trial.)

We do say this with the knowledge of the other two alleged murders though. MS was not afraid of DM IMO. He was his "partner in crime" , his "bro from another ho" and knew about everything DM was capable of. As well as what he himself was capable of.

MOO

Im wondering what evidence is on MS for LB'S murder.

Also, I believe most of his testimony except for "he didn't help put TB'S body in the incinerator due to his arm" because he said "he helped remove the seats" That Seat assembly is awkward and heavy! They removed it in one piece according to the exhibit photos.
