So I wonder what went down in the truck between DM and TB.

Sorry to bring it up, but how does a driver pull a gun on a passenger sitting 2 feet away and get a shot off without the passenger getting the gun from the shooter ? The passenger would have 2 hands, the driver only 1. The driver would have to shoot with his left hand. It would be too awkward to shoot with the right and the gun would be very close to the victim.

Kind of hard to think that the driver would get the gun out and aim it without the passenger seeing it.

Ehh...I definitely understand what you're saying but nobody knows how they'd react in that situation with a gun pointed right at them. In that moment I'd imagine it's terrifying. Unfortunately it's not like the movies where someone takes the gun. I doubt Tim had much time to think and IMO DM was impulsive and was probably quick. And I hope that's the one thing that did happen...that it was quick for Tim and he wasn't in any pain.

I'd like to ask them if they'd ever do it again :)

Look at the economics of this grand idiotismo. So he needs to pay the mechanic hell knows how much and the mechanic could be making $$$ for him elsewhere in the meanwhile, he messes up the red truck that he could otherwise sell to offset the costs of actually purchasing a diesel truck. He gives MS and a number of other idiots tools to blackmail him. He should have also accounted for the eventuality of getting caught.

It makes 0, absolutely 0 sense.

I mean, how long does it take for somebody to figure out that sometimes it's better to just pay than " diy". Unless one enjoys the process.
But they DID enjoy the process. Did you not see the video from AM in the hanger? They rebuilt cars. Engines. SS was already ON the payroll. This is well known..

Crossing 2 borders TWICE with a stolen vehicle not matching up would be detected easily IMO. I cross border shop quite often. Even though my vehicle is legit I've been asked more then a few times to park it and to produce my registration. They also tell you to leave your electronics in the car while they search it. And question you like crazy at times. If they are towing a huge trailer with a Jeep in it for the race, the flag to be pulled over is increased. Border patrol is quite thorough these days. Just switching a VIN and slapping on some paint wouldn't cut it IMO.

Not to mention Tim's truck was all over the news.... Including borders

Good point. DMs letters even stated he gets stopped at the border with the trailer. Arent they looking for drugs or other smuggled goods? IMO. If the VIN, make, model and colour matched the registration, and not that of TBs missing truck, why would border officials, perhaps uneducated about cars like myself, notice anything out of sorts to think it was stolen? JMO.

You can search for it as easily as I can. Reread the tweets (twits?) for today's testimony.
I'm getting my dinner.

Sorry, I didnt mean that to look like that. I was specifically looking for it when it was mentioned here during his testimony and I didn't find that being said. MS said that he refused to help and then he drops thatnl line. I'll check again. My apologies.

Don't quote me and maybe someone can chime in but when you cross with a truck and trailer it is not the same as a car. If you have ever looked it says by axle. I have no idea about axles on these trucks or trailers but I'm sure it's an indicator? Maybe? Jmo

Here are pictures of the 2 trucks. One is 2 feet wider and 2 feet longer than the other. One has 6 wheels, the other has 4 wheels.

That wasn't in today's testimony which will be cross examined quite thoroughly in the days to come.

it's going to be pretty difficult to cross MS without implicating DM. I think all they can do is try to prove the inconsistencies and make it look like he is lying. Perhaps TD has some more evidence up his sleeve to corroborate what MS is saying. More witnesses? can he actually have physical evidence like video footage, cell records etc that the crown did not know about?

And yet there was GSR over the driver's seat, and the passenger window was shot, suggesting the bullet came at it from a right angle. i.e., the driver's seat.

DM was left handed!

I'm not sure if this has been posted about as I haven't had a chance to read everything after they finished for the day:

If both DM & MS knew that MS was going to be dropped off at the Yukon in order to follow behind DM and Tim, why wouldn't DM just give MS the keys when they exited the Yukon for their short walk to Tim's home? Why leave the keys behind? It makes me believe that it was DM's plan for MS to get out and into the Yukon and it was unexpected on MS's part (as he testified). I'd like to know if MS was surprised that DM put the keys in the cup holder and if it's something DM did frequently.

I have no clue. [emoji12] . Does it say that on the registration? Okay, so I was speaking totally out of turn re: detection from 1)inconsistencies in the registration and 2)border crossing.

Border guards are trained to spot suspicious vehicles.

Would like to know more about DM reaction and expressions during MS testimony. I think if MS was telling a complete fabrication DM would be jumping up and down and not be able to contain himself.

I'm pretty sure this has to be on the paperwork when they cross

"When I got out, I walked around, and I seen a bullet hole in the window and Mr #Bosma laying with his head against the dashboard" #TimBosma

<modsnip>
b) unless they smashed the window later, according to evidence there is no bullet hole in that window, it is smashed. IMO

So when MS washes the truck at the hanger, where does the water/blood go ? Down a drain ? And police didn't find any evidence in the hanger drain or on the floor ?

Why was DM keeping the truck ? He "got rid of" everything else he stole. I don't think he went to get gas. I think he went to get a buyer for the truck, who turned him down. I think DM found himself with a hot truck on his hands with no way to get rid of it.

IMHO, DM wanted that truck, somehow felt entitled to that truck, he was going to keep that truck ... No way would he get rid of it. MOO

I have to give MS at least some credit for manning up and telling his version of what happened that night, but I still think he is a 🤬🤬🤬 who should spend the rest of his life behind bars. He told the jury what they wanted to hear, and I am guessing that DM’s dogs are going to be all over him like a bad rash in cross.

IMHO, MS is telling some of the truth, perhaps even most of it. I think he is conveniently leaving out crucial details of his involvement. I guess if I was on a first degree murder rap, I, like most of us, would do what I can to avoid life without a chance of parole for 25 years.

That said, a few things really bothering me about today’s testimony:

 • MS says this was only supposed to be scoping out a truck for a potential robbery. They even hide the Yukon so no one can recognize the vehicle or read the plates. But don’t you raise more suspicion, by walking up a long driveway, essentially in the dark, on a Monday night after 9 pm for a test drive, a car nowhere to be found despite being out in a rural area? I know the Tim Horton’s story that was told in front of SB and WDB, but if the plan is to steal the vehicle later that night (or even if it is to steal it at gunpoint and leave Tim unharmed), TB has his phone and can tell police about the calls from the Bate phone. Surely these idiots knew that, so hiding the Yukon was both unnecessary and likely threw up red flags right away? That is why I still believe murder was part of the plan, and it was premeditated. They didn't want anyone to ID their vehicle, because if they liked the truck, TB (and his phone) was never coming back up that driveway.

 • I still don’t understand how the whole “my friend can’t find Tim Horton’s” story (one TH is about two minutes away), finding the “friend” parked in a field and then going out to Brantford didn’t raise red flags with TB. Why not just take the truck up Trinity, across Book, over to Wilson, etc...???? That is assuming TB was still alive, of course. That is why I questions MS’s story of how it all went down. He was the father of a young daughter, who was a mere couple of hundred yards away. Surely, he was cautious of what was playing out and was starting to put the pieces together. Why go for a ride to Brantford unless it was against his will? So they didn’t have to come back to Ancaster, and MS and DM could leave in the Yukon and TB could drive his truck home? But, Tim already knew they were “coming from Toronto.” Ancaster wasn’t exactly out of the way on the way back. It isn’t adding up. Of course, that is assuming MS is telling the truth and he learned of the shooting when they pulled over in Brantford.

 • MS couldn’t move Tim’s body, partly because of his shoulder and partly because he did not want to, but had no problem partying it up in the following days, including at his sister’s wedding, smiling with a cigar hanging out of his mouth. He wasn’t as distraught as he wants everyone to believe. A distraught man would have gone to the police before being arrested in broad daylight a couple of weeks later. He was just well coached today. He is still a d-bag, and even if his account told today is true, he was still involved in a planned robbery that led to a murder.

That said, and as much as it pains to say it, the timelines at the Brantford Bobcat seem to line up. Unless I am mistaken, they pull over at 9:49 and leave around 10:04. Tim’s phone was apparently turned off at 10:02.

I think, for the most part, MS is telling the truth about pulling over on Oak Park. That would give him about 15 minutes to see what had happened (whether he knew the murder was coming or not), change the plates, and leave the scene, discarding the phone out the window.

Speaking of which, how incredibly stupid were these two? With Tim now dead, they throw his phone out a window ONTO THE FREAKING GRASS instead of smashing it to bits and getting rid of it forever? Really? Did they not think it would be found, especially given the news that was sure to hit TV the following day? That the first thing police would do was turn the phone on and trace its last known calls, to see if there was any connection to a missing man 20 minutes away, and that the phone would be tied to the Lucas Bate phone? Did they not think the police would be looking at that right away, and be able to trace its whereabouts? For “career criminals”, these two sure were a couple of ****ups.

There are still a lot of unanswered questions, and I have a feeling we are going to get a lot of answers in the next couple of days. I also think, for whatever reason, CN and some of the players in this motley crew of misfits might be feeling quite nervous this evening. The lies are going to start catching up to some of them very shortly....

I pray for the Bosma family tonight. Even though Tim has been gone for three years, today’s testimony must have hit with the force of a sledgehammer in its finality.

All MOO.

Actually from the farm to the hangar, TB was in the incinerator per MB 's testimony.

Who is MB? I also don't recall it being testified to that TB was in the incinerator during the drive from farm to hangar. Do you mean MS? If so, I will search the tweets. TY!

Well it was dark out, maybe something to do with it? Also, to say "yes, he had a murse on" and only be 50% sure, you're better of to say "I don't remeber". Also, they didn't go up to the door. TB met them by the truck or did I miss something?

Yes, and I don't know why everyone thinks he had to be wearing it all the time. Do women wear their purses when driving? We leave it on a seat. In the evidence photos of the Yukon a second murse is clearly on the seat. MS said DM went to the back to get some stuff and the murse may have been back there. IMO No big deal.

I meant to respond to one of your other posts on my last comment. As for this one, you stated you have been following along from the beginning (in a previous post), so I wonder where you get the idea that they went for a test drive with the 2 gf in tow?

Added: this was intended for SuperSpy
MS stated that DM LOOKED FOR trucks online with MS, MM and another girl participating.
