BBm Obviously. My point is that for a guy who is scared, paranoid, in great shock, blah blah blah, it's interesting that he would be modifying these rap lyrics at that time.

You saying that working on a hobby you are passionate about isn't good stress release? His hobby happens to be rapping, would you have a problem if he played piano?

Susan Clairmont Verified account ‏@susanclairmont Title: "I'm dark white." Up on screen. Justice Goodman says "Would you please shut that off. Jury, would you please step out for a moment."

Between the marshmallow comments, sleeping at the Bosmas and all this today it's really disappointing from Sachak. Am I the only one who feels like he's treating this as a circus sometimes?

Snap. Smich is getting sassy. I'm still fully on the fence about MS's role, but I'm not a fan of Sachak's style at all (too disrespectful of the Bosmas at times), so I can't help but take a little delight in MS's quick comebacks. Clearly cleaning himself up has revealed a more clever and quick-witted guy than we initially realized.

More rap lyrics found on Mark's iPad titled "I'm dark white" Judge asks that the screen be shut off and the jury step out.

***I don't think the judge is impressed with Sachak this morning.

Yeah - plenty or artists write and rap in character. It doesn't mean they've done what they write about IRL. I'm not saying Smich isn't guilty just that this angle by DM's side seems like reaching IMO. But again, the jury could very well see it pokes holes in the image he wants to portray in court.

Sachak really needs to discredit his story, not his Rap lyrics. I know what he was trying, but so far MS is making some good deflections.

I wonder when Pillay will pull Sachak?

Not a good move to get cocky with Sachak.

.

Sachak just messed up a time period, and Smich takes advantage: "It's probably one of those brain cramps again sir," Smich says. "You're probably under a lot of stress." Adam Carter

Haaa .... good comeback Mark . He is pretty quick on his feet when he wants to be.

Almost like there are two sides to him. The dimwitted choirboy act he puts on that his lawyer taught him, and his true cocky, know it all self.

I think NS's tactics are working and the true MS is starting to peek through.

He's trying to charactize and the Judge has already put a stop to it earlier. I don't think Goodman is too impressed today

open with some razors, electrifying like tasers
by Adam Carter 10:41 AM

"You're not lonely because you're holding a gun, that's what you mean," Sachak says. Smich says yes.

Sort of like when KH went from school girl routine to the lady that went toe to toe with Rosen for 7 days. He couldn't break her.

Yep. He may score points in the "look at my wit" department, but he is not doing himself any favours by getting cocky in front of the jury when you consider he is generally an unfavourable person on trial for first degree murder.

Smich rap lyrics "Never lonely, just me and my chrome piece, I am holding the cards I am delt, I am not folding." #Bosma @CTVNews

molly hayesVerified account ‏@mollyhayes 1m1 minute ago
Starts out "never lonely, it's just me and my chrome piece." Smich agrees it's a reference to a gun. #Bosma

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 2m2 minutes ago
Smich rap "The only and one Say10, it is no phony." #Bosma @CTVNews

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 1m1 minute ago Toronto, Ontario
SAY10 is Smich's nickname #Bosma #HamOnt

molly hayesVerified account ‏@mollyhayes 1m1 minute ago
Another line says "the one & only...say10, its no fony (sic)." He agrees that's a nickname for him. Adds Dell gave it to him. #Bosma

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 1m1 minute ago
"You are not lonely because you are holding a gun?" Millard's lawyer. Smich "Yes." #Bosma @CTVNews

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 1m1 minute ago Toronto, Ontario
Sachak attempting to get Smich to explain the lyrics, the meaning. #Bosma #HamOnt

Sachak says what he means is the gun is no phony. Smich says no, that's not it. "No one's holding a gun, it's just lyrics."
by Adam Carter 10:43 AM

"You know what the word slapped means on the street?" Sachak says. "You know for a fact that slapped is street slang for murder and kill."
by Adam Carter 10:44 AM

"Sir, that's not how it's written," Smich says. "Gun hand, it says."
by Adam Carter 10:44 AM

I think MS's ego is starting to show and IMO he should be careful with his comebacks. Humility would be his best friend now.

I don't think Pillay and Sachak have much to work with, though. There's so little they can question MS on without underlining what a monster their own client is. They have to stick to the stuff like hiding the gun, MS' violent side, his raps. I don't expect they are going to grill him too hard when it comes to dealing with Tim's body, because it just reminds the jury how disgusting DM is. They really have so little to work with here. I don't like DM's defense team, especially Sachak, but realistically they have the worst client ever. MOO

Sachak was just pointing with Smich like he was holding a gun, raising his voice, and pounding on the lectern.
by Adam Carter 10:45 AM

Smich says Millard was "very encouraging" about his raps. There was talk of building him a studio, but that never happened.
by Adam Carter 10:46 AM

Smich says he doesn't think he wrote the "leave you dead" portion.
by Adam Carter 10:47 AM

Smich is saying he thought Millard wrote that lyric.

It will be up to the crown to dig everywhere, including the plan and the failure discussion in the house on the 5th. I hope they poke at the holes I am seeing at this point.

Hmm, wonder if they're going to do rap lyrics all day.

Thanks, tweet transcribers.
