Review from yesterday... and another discrepancy in MS testimony (assuming tweets are accurate)

Susan Clairmont
Then asked Arthur to take gun to mother's house. "I would have been like 'Holy f&%k,'" says Smich. May 16, 2016
" I asked him to bring it to my mother's house. I didn't mention any of that other stuff. (Bosma)." Smich couldn't leave apartment, no key. May 16, 2016
Smich says he didn't give Arthur anything to move gun to his mother's house. May 16, 2016
"I didn't want it (gun) around me. Honestly I was scared and confused," says Smich. May 16, 2016
Did he tell Arthur where to hide gun in his mom's house? Smich says he assumed Arthur would know where to hide it. May 16, 2016
Sachak: "You brought it to the house of the family that means everything to you?...You wanted them close to the gun." May 16, 2016
Smich: "I was scared and confused...I put it in the washing machine for a couple of days and then I got rid of it." May 16, 2016
Sachak accuses him of not caring for his mom and sister Andrea. "I was shocked, scared, confused." May 16, 2016

Did anyone else notice the discrepancy in MS testimony yesterday?
MS said that he asked Arthur to take the gun to mother's (Smich mom) house.
MS then said "I assumed Arthur would know where to hide it"

Then, MS said "I put it in the washing machine" Immediately before saying "then I got rid of it"

So, who exactly put the gun in the washing machine Smich? Stories are getting a bit tangled?

ETA - it seems that Arthur stashed on the porch, MS moved it to washing machine

Where/who's testimony is the effed up comment from? - is it on the time line? I thought it was on BD's but on Billandrew's timeline i only see BD's part that says they blew past him then MM threw him some weed to get out. Anyone know what day the effed up comment was made?

what if the seat was pulled way up to make room for the guy in the backseat? Still too much room? My dad's chevy truck cab is cavernous, so no doubt its a weird scenario...

I wish that he'd ask MS about finding TB murdered in the truck with his head on the dash. I tried that position today in a RAM 3500 and there is no way that could be what MS saw. Bent forward with my seat belt off, there was still at least a foot of air between my head and the dash. I'm 5'8" and the seat was set for a 5'2" woman. A 3500 has a very big cab.

I couldn't wiggle into the "head on dash position" no matter how I tried. Without my seatbelt on, I had to move forward but that threw my body was off balance and I kept either sliding back, or my head would go under the dash.

I am confident that MS did not see TB in the position that he describes.

Also strange he would assume Arthur would know where to put it. Didn't he also say he put it some where under a step/porch?

Standard disclaimer: I'm bad at "follow the object".

But does he mean Arthur dropped it under a porch/whatever, then MS retrieved it and put it in the washer?

Maybe they had a usual drug "dead drop" spot.

Doesn't jive with his request to "bring an orange guy"

Smich says he didn't take any Oxy's on May 6. #TimBosma #Bosma

Actually does jive.

May 3rd text (MS to DM) "can you bring me tape, gloves and an orange guy?"

May 5th- Meneses recalls Smich being sick on this day, vomiting. Assumes he drank too much the night before.

May 17 2016 4:24 PM Adam Carter
"Me and Dell did Oxy's, he doesn't drink," Smich says about May 5. Smich says he also drank, and that made him ill.

At random: I took a mere 20mg of OxyContin one time. Made me sick as a dog. 50/50 chance even something like Vicodin will make me pukey. If I ever need serious pain relief I'm going to have a problem. Whenever it's mentioned that they're doing oxy, it makes my stomach heave a little.

My screen keeps jumping to the bottom of the page every time the Las Vegas Mirage Belagio add resets.
Does anyone else have this prob?
I've had it fore a few days now.

I have no idea where this is coming from. Obviously I missed some evidence or something?

No, all you missed was some conjecture floating around the other day. Some seem to have a strong opinion (in their opinion only) that he was overpowered back at Trinity Road or area which may have included being tied up. The duct tape reference was drawn from this:

"May 3 ?? Smich messages Millard: "Can u bring me gloves and tape and maybe an orange guy?" https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Hb6kEtpLa8cHCVorBuy4yqfHymGvhfHeM6s8QMWGVW8/pubhtml

We also don't have evidence he was lying against the dashboard except testimony of MS and that there was a lot of blood found in that area. In my opinion only.

Right!!

MS assumed Arthur would know where to put it...
Susan Clairmont
"I asked him to bring it to my mother's house. I didn't mention any of that other stuff. (Bosma)." Smich couldn't leave apartment, no key. May 16, 2016
Did he tell Arthur where to hide gun in his mom's house? Smich says he assumed Arthur would know where to hide it. May 16, 2016

Then... MS testified that he didn't tell Arthur where to put the gun
Smich says Arthur put the gun outside the house, at the bottom of stairs. #Bosma May 16, 2016
He says he didn't tell him where exactly to put this. Smich says usually when he hangs out there he hangs out on the front porch... May 16, 2016
...or the back patio or the side stairwell leading to the basement. Sachak asks again where he told him to put it. May 16, 2016
Smich says he assumed he wouldn't put it on the front porch. But figured he'd put it in one of the three places he hung out. #Bosma May 16, 2016

Brendan Daly testified that MS told him that he (MS) had put it into the washing machine
Molly Hayes
Pillay: "Mark told you his gun was in the toolbox." Daly: yes. #Bosma Apr 06, 2016
Pillay: mark told you he hid the toolbox with his gun inside in a washing machine which was in the garage. Yes. #Bosma Apr 06, 2016

So, to recap, MS had Arthur bring the gun to Smich mom's house, Arthur stashed it on front or back porch or stairwell. Then, MS moved it to washing machine... I get it now.

<modsnip>I suppose it's not evidence persay but the May 3rd text asking for tape, gloves and an orange guy could be where the thought process came from that TB was perhaps bound with tape. JMO

With the gloves and tape request happening DAYS before the test drives, I've just assumed it was for some other project or "mission". But I can't recall what other info we have about May 3.

The Rafferty/McClintock duo (Tori Stafford case) were part of the Oxy crowd here in my town of Woodstock. I also cannot take prescription pain meds, or I get 200% nauseated. TO THIS DAY, when I drive past the local druggie hangouts I think of them, think of Oxy, and feel like throwing up. With the nicer weather lately, they're all hanging around outside, so it happens more often. :(

And if you take a high dose of that and have a mental illness. That would back up MS'S testimony of DM was like a "lunatic" he hadn't seen that before and was himself in three days. I've seen this in my own family member but not with Oxy's.

Being mentally ill and having an episode is one thing, but he (they) still drove around with a gun which isn't a normal Canadian thing to do--illegally obtained, unlicensed gun at that. Recipe for intent to shoot someone IMO. I think ever since he obtained the gun, he might have been itching to use it. IMO. I mean, why else did he want to risk his neck to buy an illegal gun? If for a hobby, why not buy a legal gun?

I hate posting because I have a hard time getting my point acrossed. What I meant by that was when MS was questioned about why he buried the gun he said that Daly and MM suggested it and he just went along.

He stated at the time that he f'ed up. Now he says what he meant by that was that MM told him not to go but he went anyway. What was different about this time and all the rest that would make MM not want him to go? MM knew he was a thief and drug dealer yet still wanted to marry him. Why was she nervous this time?

BBM

just a thought, maybe any other "mission" never involved having direct contact with the owner of the property they were stealing. Dealing directly with the owner, risk/danger increases so that made her perhaps worry more this time...was it ever mentioned if she reacted to the test drive with Igor?

I really do appreciate you clearing that up. Depending on the time of day posts, there is actually a lot I miss. Based on my understanding of the very quick timeline, I don't know if they ever had time to use duct tape for restraints.

I know the bit about it being poetry, rap, just lyrics, but I also believe out of the heart the mouth speaks. And free-styling comes from the head and heart, not a sheet of paper necessarily.

I'm fairly sure the Bosma's concur with the words of Luke 6:45. "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."
