A few questions for MS:

From Tweet spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...Qlyw__2QSDhYkGxMU/pubhtml?gid=0&single=false# (bbm)

1. MollyH "Now onto May 4, 2012. 2 messages to say10 (from Millard phone). Says "let's get to work, for@some@empires to build.ext: "Part a) getting you a base & me a dodge 3500."

What is the "base" is he referring to? Why would he say "part A." You imply there is no other part to this truck theft plan, sounds like theft was only part A.

2. May 2012, "These ones w/ 'mi negro.' From Millard phone: "I'll reach around 9:30x we go do incinerator, cool?"

What does "do incinerator mean?

3. (photos sent) first looks like a tree trunk carved into some sort of bench? Second is of painted tree stump stools? More texts from YYM. Sends another photo, this time of sausages in a frying pan... #"

Is there a hidden meaning there?

"You saw a big perk, a Cadillac, at the end of a successful theft of a truck," Sachak says. Smich says that's "absolutely incorrect."
by Adam Carter 12:22 PM

Smich agrees Millard was anxious over time for not being able to get a truck.
by Adam Carter 12:23 PM

Sachak says on May 6, Millard's equity and assets would have been over $1M. Smich says he doesn't know about what he owned or what he was in debt to.
by Adam Carter 12:24 PM

"He was not that desperate, he could get a $20,000 truck at any moment at any time," Sachak says.
by Adam Carter 12:24 PM

oh no. I see we are getting back into the "Dell didn't need to steal a truck because he was rich" defence again. Why???? Let that one go Sachak!

Wasn't the context of "getting you a base" about getting MS a permanent place to live?

I don't remember seeing a May 2012 incinerator tweet. (I don't remember DM ever tweeting the word "incinerator".) Was it the homemade one?

All depends on one's definition of "around the corner" I suppose.

I drove past the Bosma home and past Timmy's tonight on my way home from dog training. I certainly would not say it is "right around the corner". I can't imagine anyone in the Trinity Road area walking to it, however it is easily and quickly found if you stay on the main roads and are driving. It's a no brainer really. It's a very lame excuse to say that "the friend" couldn't find Tim Horton's. That would be a huge red flag for me. I'm sure it was for Tim as well.

Re: your first reply
Perhaps. I didn't know if that or the recording studio, but the point is, it was only "part A

"It was odd going for a test drive at night time in the first place" Smich on why he didn't question Millards actions. #Bosma #HamOnt

BBM

Yet CN stated that it wasn't unusual to be doing odd things with Dell Boy at all hours of the night. I'm finding it extremely hard to believe MS on this point....which makes me believe his whole story is nothing more than fiction. MOO

You're going to believe CN over MS? I think MS was saying that taking a truck for a test drive at night is odd in general. Especially to the person who is selling the truck.

This link doesn't quite work for me, is this regarding my comment last night about Stephen King? If so, I almost posted something like "Hey Dungey, you're welcome" earlier today, but I wasn't sure I was the first person to draw that parallel (King is the obvious choice).

Yes. I guess brightii made a reference way back and you and Typhoo made one last night.

Shooting him in the truck has always been a mystery. DM had to make emergency arrangements in the morning to cancel his three workers. He had to juggle the cleanup with his property finance meetings. I don't think either planned to kill him the way it happened, but both played a dangerous criminal game that night, and both are responsible. Both knew about the gun(s).

MOO

I still wonder if it was just a freakishly sick and twisted spontaneous decision DM made after MS was in the Yukon.

Not if the "friend" was from the GTA and not at all familiar with the area - or someone that didn't have GPS on board. I've never been in town there, and I wouldn't have a clue where the closest TH is, unless I pulled it up on google maps (and haven't been following this case for the last 3 years).

Are the gates at Fairgrounds by ss VAC place open at all times? looks to be empty. Wonder if the video from ss goes that far. could they have went in that lot at all? not sure if there would be cameras there but just a thought. i forget the timing of their passings there.

Some are open all the time and others are not. The gates at the front (closest to Super Sucker) and Wilson Street are usually open. A lot of stuff goes on in Ancaster Fairgrounds at all times. The Hamilton Dog Obedience Club holds classes there a couple of times a week, horses are in there, all kinds of events all through the week. The gates further down on Trinity are typically closed. I haven't noticed them being wide open on many occasions. It's a busy place, but not tonight. It was pretty quiet.

Sorry, forget to post with reply to quote.

Can't say that I have. but I have never had to fight for my life either. The neighbor testified two vehicles coming out of the lane. There's no reason to dismiss his testimony. ( MS f'ed up ) some how. Think that comment would be a response to more than, just not listening to his gf. . And there is a bit of a time lapse. And there was talk of duct tape. Jmo.

The neighbour didn't put things together until he learned that Bosma went missing. He viewed all of this from some distance down the road and could have seen the one truck ahead, waiting just as the other truck left the lane way. That sight could imply that both trucks had just left the field. Then they drive west until they make a u turn and come back to Trinity. I don't think they would have backed up next to the Yukon in the lane unless TB was not in condition to see one driver in it. I think the witness may have some cloudy memory.

I believe LE said in their testimony they did check the Fairgrounds.

Found it here "Recalls going out to look for surveillance footage, first at Ancaster Fairgrounds (was none) and then SuperSuckers Hydro Vac. #Bosma Feb 24,"2016

Early on in the testimony, (I have a no idea where to find it now), one of the police officers who was tasked with checking local businesses for cctv made mention of the fact that he went to the Ancaster Fairgrounds and they do NOT have Security Video.

If anyone's bothering to keep score, I'm inching away from believing MS didn't know the plan, although I can't articulate why. I suppose the highly rehearsed nature of his testimony. That said, just by skimming the threads at the end of the day, Sachak is still frying my brain. As many of us have said lately, I could change my mind tomorrow. Don't envy those jurors. (Well, I say that, but I'm pretty sure they're both going down for murder regardless.)

Unfortunately I still can't visualize the road/timeline stuff you guys are talking about, but I get the gist it's significant.

A lot of things don't make sense to me, but I suspect 99% of them are due to Sachak's unique, um, lawyering style. (I don't mean "I don't understand", as in the road stuff, I mean "they don't make sense", as in they make DM look worse or simply confuse issues hopelessly.)

I missed this part, but I don't have the patience for Sachak anymore. That does sound sketchy.

That said--what is the actual significance of the Cadillac to DM's defense? They aren't denying that a theft was planned, so what does it matter if MS was compensated for it with a car? Aren't they teetering on the edge of admitting DM was going to pay MS for his part in the murder? How does that help DM?

(I've probably missed something obvious.)

Yes, a car is a lot more than $50-100 for keeping six! Although, DM seems to leave his friends with suggestions of payment without any plans of that actually happening. Everyone was hoping for their payday from the rich guy.

Has anyone looked up the stats/blue book of the Cadillac? I've been picturing a junker based on the condition of DM's other vehicles and his implied willingness to part with it.
