I tried a little searching on Ms. Bowers. In addition to the picture posted on NamUs, there is a mugshot from Georgia. I couldn't really find much of anything else. There might be a Texas connection, but I am not sure.

I could not determine if Bowers was a birth or married name.

Raine and I compared the two mugshots and believe this is the same person:

It lists same birth date but birth year is 1961 and alias of Barnes and also that the L stands perhaps for middle name Lee.

The mugshot from Florida is not the same lady, I just ruled this out with the ME

Per ME, she was born in Florida, has been in Texas and has a long scar on her left arm with pins.

Mother is Murry Theresa Bowers, I believe that was how it was spelled.

Bowers is a family name for my family. There were many in Western Pa. There may be a connection there. You could also check Bowser. My great grandmother was listed in some records as Bowers and some as Bowser. She married a Bowser so that further complicated things.
