BSL reminds me so much of my cousin. He was mentally and physically abused as a child. He got into trouble with LE. The judge allowed him to join the military instead of prison. He joined the army and was intelligent enough to become an army scout. But of course couldn't stay behaved enough to stay in and was kicked out. He abused his girlfriend and has all types of psych problems. And again got in trouble with the law and has been in prison for years now. Will be getting out soon and afraid for what happens when he does. Abuse is never good for a child. And sometimes it does lead to them becoming killers. It changes your feelings for others. Makes you lack empathy and makes you want others to feel as miserable as you do. There is no excuse for it, it's simply just the way it is. And it is sad. I hope my cousin does not end up like BSL. I don't think he will. But the similarities are eerie.

Is it mean of me to say that BSL should never be allowed to work in a field on a nice summer day, even if it is in prison? it sounds like this Cain guy is trying to run some sort of born again country club...I want to be christian, and forgive, but 1/2 of me thinks BSL should die for his sins.

We will all die and be accountable for our sins. A sin is a sin is a sin to God. No biggies and no tiny ones. You, me and everyone else will, if not die for our sins, we will certainly be judged for them.

So, I was just discussing BSL with my boss and he told me that one of his neighbors is a relative of BSL's...somehow related to his adopted mom. He says that when BSL was younger, he would go to their house and was always respectful of his home and parents. He also informed my boss that there is a lot more to come out...especially from Texas. He wouldn't tell my boss much else.

I wanted to share because it validates a lot of our suspensions that there are many more. If this is not allowed because it is hearsay, I apologize and please delete.

Before accepting a guilty plea, the court had to be satisfied with his acknowledgment of the evidence against him. Keep in mind we haven't heard BSL's allocution (the recorded confession).

That is true ; however, in the plea agreement, BSL and attorneys readily acknowledge that given the evidence, the risks off not accepting is too great to risk a DP sentence. So, its easy for the court to accept. I still say that BSL out-negotiated DA. IMO, BSL actually felt justified in klling Lisa since she voluntarily accompanied him to the motel, and after all, she tried to steal his wallet and truck....and all Stutes wanted to do is get any plea that would put BSL anyway for life signed...........

BSL has had a long time to "convince" himself that he was justified in his actions with LisaP; and after all this time, I suspect he believes his story to be true, which certainly makes it easier to convince everyone else.

Mama Roux, although I agree that we will all be judged for our sins, I don't believe all sins are the same to God. But, I also think we don't really know how God weighs sins.
For example, the Bible says pride is a sin. IMO being overly proud, sinfully proud, is not
the same as raping, torturing, and killing a person.
I know what you mean, though. When I was younger, I drank and drove a few times.
Now, every time I read about a drunk driver killing someone, I feel like I might've killed them, I'll never lose that guilt even though it was only a few times long ago.

From what we have heard about BSL, it appears to me that he loves to talk!
He's evidentally not getting the opportunity to do much talking, at this point in time. So...when LE pay him visits who knows what he may, eventually, divulge for the prvilege to get out of solitary confinement...the isolated life-style would not seem to bode well with his personality type, imo. :jail:

He is definately a "creative" story teller!

Thanks! He also had mental counseling for anger problems as a teen. The only differences is no possible molestation that I know of as a child. And no rape and murder case. I hope he improves but we'll see..

What have you heard KGeaux? I have not heard much on the Cajunnet other than speculation about Ali Lowitzer & Danielle Thibodeaux.

He's my main suspect in Ali Lowitzer's case and Danielle Thibodeaux's case in Breaux Bridge in 1998 due to the location (although it's possible DTL killed her...or someone else entirely). I REALLY wish there was more info on Danielle & her murder available.

I also feel like maybe he was involved in Evyone Rosier's case, but that is just something in my gut, nothing more. Something about her reminds me of Lisa.

ETA: Maybe Necole Guillory? Where she was found makes that suspicious as far as BSL being the killer. However, we definitely have another serial killer who was (hopefully he's stopped, dead, in prison, whatever so he can't hurt anyone else) killing women in Jennings & who killed MOST of the Jennings women, with whom Necole was friends.

Yeah but oddly enough, if one asks LE what bsl had of theirs, they just refuse to tell you.
You'd think after his confession and finding Mickey, they'd contact the women they had already met with, and finally tell them what he had. But no.

It's just asking for closure, yet being refused it.

Since BSL had some articles of these individuals without their knowledge, I feel that they have been stalked / targeted by someone in obtaining their personal property. Did BSL steal these things ? Was he paying an accomplice to get these items from people without their knowledge ? These people need to learn how their belongings were lifted as a precaution in the future. Maybe LE is investigating another person in league with BSL in stealing their property without anyone knowing about it. So the questions is: How was this done ? By whom ? Is there still a person out there doing this for other individuals ? Identity theft + ?? We won't know until LE comes forth with it. IMO that may not be very soon but I hope eventually, everyone will learn what was going on.
IMO LE must have some ID's / Articles belonging to some of the missing women.......putting together a case for it / them is in process and will remain secret until they finish ?? What else could it be ?

Same here danzn16...I have a younger cousin that has had emotional,anger, and you name it problems all of his life. Was sent to juvenile jail were he was ganged raped by young guys that didn't like him. Horrible...I think that only made him worse. He's an adult now and think he recently got out of another jail. So sad how demons seem to follow certain young men around. In most cases it seems that it all goes back to some form of emotional,mental,physical,or sexual abuse.

I just mentioned this in another thread, after bessie had posted this same link there, but guess my question/comment really belongs more in this one: Isn't the above the first time we have had reported (though we've speculated) that BSL actually brandished the gun and knife to get Mickey inside the truck?

If this is the first report of that -- I'm wondering if Stutes actually made a new statement to that effect, or if the reporter was just assuming here.

B4 - I also believe that BSL justified in his own mind Mickey's killing, i.e. she stabbed him with the knife so he had to protect himself, etc. (Of course, there were less lethal ways to avoid being attacked.) Persons with BSL's deviant personality traits usually blame everyone else for what they do.

Was sent to juvenile jail were he was ganged raped by young guys that didn't like him. Horrible...I think that only made him worse. He's an adult now and think he recently got out of another jail. So sad how demons seem to follow certain young men around. In most cases it seems that it all goes back to some form of emotional,mental,physical,or sexual abuse.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff Dept ruled out DTL & BSL quickly in murder of Danielle Thibodeaux.. They have a PRIME suspect but not enough evidence. Don't know how to state this with sensitivity, but Danielle was an extreme crackhead. The type that causes a 30 yr. old to look like 70, with no teeth, sores. Her murder had to do with a drug deal rather than sex.....
