Brazil - Real estate agent, 43, disappears inside her own building after going to check a power outage in the basement, 17 December 2025

Is anyone able to translate what she is saying to her friend. I don’t know any Spanish, but it seems like when she gets to the desk on S1 she is saying something as if the call got cut off. You can hear the man from the elevator talking too.

It's Portuguese. They speak Portuguese in Brazil.

Be interesting to know if the power was just out only for HER apartment.

That really would be strange, and very suspicious.

Couldn't have been a major power fault in the building, as the elevator was still working.

It's bad if she suspects the building owner/landlord is cutting her apartment's electricity supply as a joke, as he is the one she should be contacting if there's a problem. But they've had issues before, so she can't do it ...so the only other choice is to investigate the power outage yourself.

Sounds like she was lead into a dangerous situation, even if the building owner wasn't responsible for her disappearance himself, he could've got someone to do the job.

The mystery is if she is dead, where is her body?

Is it still in the basement somewhere?

Did the perp smuggle the body out inside furniture, or a big box?

He’s already in the elevator steps forward like he’s going to exit, but then doesn’t when she enters.

I've often done that. Presumed that when the door opens, the elevator is on the floor I wanted, so I've stepped forward to exit, only for someone to come in the lift, and I realise it's not the floor I wanted at all....the lift only stopped half-way down for someone to get on, but I didn't realise or look at the LED panel with the floor number on.

I've seen other people do it when I get on at a floor too, they presumed it's the floor they need, they step forward to exit, but no, it's just me getting on.
