It is sickening to us and probably to LE as well. It's a long 15 hour plus flight. It may be possible that they are buttering him up and being very friendly hoping that he will feel relaxed enough to talk.

I don't think they are buttering him up, as most fliers going non-stop from Thailand and even Singapore (where we have had experience) are treated like Kings and Queens! Lots of food/snacks/slippers/warm washcloths, toiletries etc, you name it they have it! JMK isn't in First Class, but notice the room he has to himself, not cramped at all! LOL unlike US AIR :razz:

LOL I'm wondering tho, if he has privacy in the restroom?

International flight - they also serve drinks and champagne (per a friend of mine that travels on these). I have only gotten peanuts or a cookie on the domestics !

The outstanding child charges in California are misdemeanors, not felonies. I'm not saying they are not serious, only that technically he's not a felon.

I forget what channel I was just watching, but they were saying that Thailand may have paid for his flight, since they were expelling him. (And I just read one article where they quoted Thai police as saying they were treating him very well because it was a "high Profile" case.)

They were also saying that even though he is with 3 US officials, that he is not in handcuffs or leg irons, because they can't serve him with the arrest warrants until he's on American soil.

What had he done in Thailand (against their laws) to warrent cuffing him? furthermore, later on, segregating him and witholding alcohol on the flight?

I doubt he'll be able to come up with any info for any killing that wasn't splashed all over the newspapers or the web or TV.

Some of you have stated that you think Karr is just trying to get his 15 minutes of fame, and that may indeed be the case--I guess we will all find out soon enough. I just don't understand WHY anyone would want to garner fame in this way. I mean, if he is innocent, WHY would he want to be seen as such a creepy, evil freak? There is really nobody worse than those that cause harm, and KILL, innocent children. Even amongst criminals in prison, pedophiles are looked at with disgust and contempt. This guy has spent a better portion of his adult life working with kids & claiming he cares for kids (his teaching resumes), so it boggles my mind why, if innocent, he would go from one extreme to the next.

Usually, people looking for attention do it in the hopes that they will be admired & looked up to---not to be looked at as a disgusting, evil, sickening lowlife.

I just don't get it.

I suspect he's given up on trying to pretend he's a normal human. I don't think he's anywhere close to being JBR's killer. But I do think he's a perverted pedophile who has had a life-time of difficulty fitting it and has finally surrendered the pretense of normality. I also suspect his man is a high functionin autistic, probaly suffering from Asper (sp?) Syndrome, given his documentegd history of being an odd duck from childhood on.

I think he knows once he lands alcohol will be a thing of the past for him so he is getting in his slops now....but you're right...there's no way they should be letting him drink like this knowing he'll be questioned upon arrival in L.A...

Oh he'll probably eventually fall asleep on the plane, but as soon has he sets foot on the ground in L.A. he'll be sobered up but fast!! Reality will hit with a pair of handcuffs.

And one pet peeve I have, it drives me nuts to hear everyone on TV always saying he's "presumed innocent". Anyone can speculate all they want, he's only presumed innocent in a Court of Law, not on TV shows or WebSleuths.
