I don't think so. i think they will pass off to CO and let them do their thing first.

I think felony charges take priority of Misdemeaner's so Colorado has first shot at the guy.

No, CA reported the charges are on hold, and the CO murder charges are priority.

Once Colorado arrests him tonight they will be on the clock to formally charge him. Which means they are gonna have to have something concrete to file charges.

The original online article at CNN said 11:40pm ET (or 8:40pm PT), but the tv CNN said a few minutes before I posted that it'd be 12:30am ET instead.

It's coming in at 9:30 I think due to a delay taking off. When I said 8pm, I was referring to the original 8:40.
But then the LAX landing system has been jacked up so who knows.

The reason that I said that California intervene is that Colorado may want them to for a couple of days anyway to give them time to build a case.

What I read is that he drove the DeLorean while he was in high school - BEFORE he even got married.

I also 'heard' it reported he drove the DeLorean while in high school. The other students thought it was strange being he was in hs. Also said, he was different, thus they didn't think it was really that strange. Hope that makes sense LOL It was 'him'!

I understand your logic completely, but the officials in Colorado have to be ready to go through with this.

Hi JBean! Don't want you to be late for the airport, so I'm replying to you now :)
Generally, I believe, prosecutors are required to file charges within 72 hours. California requires charges to be filed within 48 hours [Cal Penal Code Sec.825].

I heard on Fox news that he might be charged with something lesser in Colorado in 72 hours so they are able to hold him while they are investigating further and gathering more evidence.

Ooh thank you. now I know I have less time here in CA.

Also just to clarify for those that may not know, they have to charge him in that time frame in order to keep him in custody. They have a year or more to file charges.
