I'd certainly hope that Homeland Security is working on their "other" problems first. If the Boulder LE and DA's office hasn't learned their lesson about investigation in the last ten years...

I'm only guessing here, but there is a chance CA will hold him a few days to question him in hope that CO will come up with something concrete to charge him with, or at least get their act together!

I heard it on the news this afternoon, only once here in California (so I'm not sure if it is actually true) but one reporter said that he would actually be held here in California until "Extradition" paperwork etc. to Colorado is completed.
It makes sense that they would at least want to dot all of the eyes and cross all of the tees. Since he is landing in California from foreign soil there must be some legalities that have to be taken care of before taking him to Colorado.

I read that in one of the many links I read yesterday. It sounds like he may spend more than several days in CA before being extradited to CO.

If you knew the flight was coming into Ontario, you were in the group of reporters waiting just off the loading ramp where he would exit, and then here he comes and suddenly you hear a man scream and you see someone running toward you. Then another scream, stop that man as he could be a killer!

Would you actually be able to reach out your arm and grab his bare arm and pull him towards you to stop him?

John Mark Karr, the suspect in the death of JonBenet Ramsey, sipped champagne and ate fried king prawns in business class after being put aboard a flight to Los Angeles to face charges in the United States.

The 41-year-old teacher sat in a business class window seat next to Mark Spray, an investigator with the Boulder County District Attorney's office. A US Embassy official and an agent with "Homeland Security" on his T-shirt were also part of the escort party.

Before takeoff, Karr took a glass of champagne from a flight attendant and clinked glasses with Spray, who sipped orange juice.

I am in L.A (Lower Alabama).... Seriously if I were out there tonight I'd be trying to go to LAX and see what I could see!!! I love Los Angeles and have been there many times...LAX is a mess on any given day or night...it's huge and busy. I'll bet tonight it is nuts with media.

Yes, that is what I heard also, from several news sources.

FNC is now reporting he'll arrive at 9:15pm PT.

englishleigh, if you would enjoy going to LAX tonight to try to get a glimpse of JMK, you must not be getting out often enough. Take a couple of Tylenol extra everything, and get a good night's sleep. If you still feel the same way in the morning, call your doctor. LOL
