They even have a step by step guide on what to do online for mental illness arrests in L.A. Even have an Inmate Medication Information Form you can fill out.

I saw a program on the LA way of handling people with mental problems, and it is impressive, and very compassiionate. Decades agao, they would lock these people up and forget about them, but now, the state has closed all of those facilities, so these people just roam around. LA takes good care of them.

Solitary confinement, anyone? Or maybe they hope he'll say something incrimiating to a cellmate.

What's he going to be in jail for? For writing creepy emails?

They are giving him the Penthouse Suite for tonight; yes, they put the piece of chocolate on his pillow when they come in to turn down the bed.

They supposedly have to have an extradition hearing before "extraditing" him from California to Colorado. Although CNN says that it checked and California authorities say that they have no such hearing scheduled. So we can not at this point be sure why he is spending the night in a CA Jail.

well I am not sure, but i don't think that Thai Airways would fly everywhere. So I would bet he would have to come here either which way. To fly to CO tonight would be brutal even if he didn;t have to be in CA.

Possibly because there are no direct flights from LAX, into Denver tonight (at least I couldn't find one). The flights I found all had stops, and it took at least eight hours to get to Denver.

Aww JBean...an airline cabin has to be better than a Thai detention facility...LOL

I just hope that he gets to Colorado soon so that Mary Lacy can "start doing work on the case" ... Like taking a good look at what she has caught in her "dragnet" (no pun intended) but it is funny...LOL

Perhaps they will have a press conference when the plane lands about his "itinerary" - if they even know at this time. Wonder if JMK cares that the Raiders beat the 49ers 23-7??

So far I'm not convinced Karr did anything to JonBenet other than fantasize about her and insert himself into the case. If the Boulder DA has the evidence to charge him, so be it. Otherwise, leave him in CA.

btw, I live in northern San Diego County. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near LAX tonight.

The Raiders looked great tonight.--I like the new QB Walter; I think he is going to help the Raiders--he can throw.
