agreed. But if we see more of her, I am already seeing her being careless in her speech, so we have to factor that in when she speaks. She talks too much anyway.
But when she said she found JMK to be lucid and engaging and that they "connected" , I found that to be intriguing. She also said he is having appropriate responses to his circumstances.Understadns what is going on. Translation: he is sane and perfectly normal.
Intersting words from his atty so early on, wouldn't you say? Especially right after listening to the secret tapes.

Well he might have accomplished his task today. Wacky or not, Killer or not, this whole thing would sell more than a few books I would imagine.

The Ca. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 charges have been dropped.

This could be the best thing that ever happened to him, cause I think Boulder is probably in a panic right now, figuring out that they jumped the gun and have the wrong man.

I thought the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 charges were just on hold so they can defer to CO.for now. When were they dropped?

Wenchie the charges here in Sonoma County are not dropped, they are on hold, big difference.

Sorry. They announced this afternoon that Ca. had dropped the charges.

With all the other misinformation that's been announced, I'm not surprised.

She shouldn't be saying much of anything at this point in time. She, above all, shouldn't be giving away any potential defense leg.

I do think that John Mark Karr has the potential to be temporarily engaging with just about anyone, but that's just an outward reaction on his part. I think they will have a difficult time getting to the crux of him. Internally he is pretty complex to say the least. He didn't make a very good choice of an attorney, even if he stays here in CA.

Thats OK there is a lot of confusion on that issue among others.
Quote from todays press release from Sonoma County Sheriff:

Ultimately, we were only able to establish that Karr committed five violations of penal code section 311.11, possession of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. He was charged for these crimes but he fled during the time of court proceedings so an arrest warrant was issued for him. We made efforts to locate Karr to serve this warrant, but we were unsuccessful and it appeared he fled our jurisdiction to an unknown location(s). Our warrant will be served after Karr’s matters in Colorado are resolved.

I heard it on one of the news shows, while they were showing him in court today.

The news people haven't exactly been doing a lot of fact-checking before they announce something.

wenchie, the CA charges/warrant are still active, and only being deferred pending the disposition of the CO charges. I've posted articles proving this at least five times in the last few days. You're right, for some reason, the reporters are making numerous errors, more than I have ever noticed before, on this case.

What if no one wants him? Will they just keep flying him around, gitten him drunk?

Why not just go ahead and get the book signing tour on the road, untill Boulder decides it’s time to look at the intruder theory?

Reporter's Notebook: Karr a 'Demon' Child?
By Jonathan Serrie

Stone Mountain, GA – John Mark Karr “is a pedophile, not a murderer,” said George McCrary, explaining to us that he’s known the suspect since he was a baby.

The gray-bearded 76-year-old says Karr’s father, Wexford, had instructed him to hold off on granting any more on-camera interviews. But off-camera, McCrary is passionate about wanting to clarify Karr to the public.

I met McCrary in the Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain, where he is attempting to restore a modest, working class home for re-sale. It was as a builder that McCrary met Karr's father in the 1960s. He said the two still work together on community service projects through a grassroots organization they call “Senior Citizens Project Group of Georgia.”

McCrary took a seat on a dusty chair between an old refrigerator and a table stacked with vintage Life magazines and other memorabilia. He spoke with me in detail – frequently shifting back and forth between the subjects of Karr’s arrest and his own building projects.

McCrary described Karr as a “genius,” saying he had fabricated his confession to the 1996 murder of JonBenet Ramsey simply to get out of jail in Thailand and return to the United States.

He insists Karr had nothing to do with the murder, but had intimate knowledge of the details of the case because of research he had been conducting for a book on pedophiles — a book, McCrary says, Karr still intends to write.

McCrary then explained how Karr’s mother attempted to set fire to her son when he was a toddler. Patricia Elaine Adcock, he said, had become delusional and thought her son was possessed by demons. She thought the only way to rid her son of these demons would be by fire.

If the check stub was, in fact, on the a desk top, it would be new news to me. People have thought that an intruder might have seen a pay stub showing that net amount, but I have never heard it was even available to be seen. So if it turns out to be true, that could have been contained in the D.A.'s affidavit.
I remember seeing that on one of those CourtTV specials. That the check stub could have been viewed by anyone that was at his desk. That it didn't have to be insider info. Also that it wasn't exactly $118,000. (Rounded up or down maybe?)

It made sense to me. Even though my hubby gets his checks direct-deposited into our account, we get the stub in the mail. And where does it sit? On top of our microwave, until I get sick of looking at it and bring it upstairs into my office. :o

Los Angeles - "Regardless of his guilt or innocence, please don’t let Mr. Karr be responsible for the death of even one more living being," urges PETA in a letter sent this morning to Los Angeles County Sheriff Leroy Baca. PETA was prompted to write the letter in response to reports of Karr’s taste for foie gras and other foods involving violence against animals.

snip

it's been found that many serial killers have a background history of torturing animals. Feeding inmates bean burritos rather than baby back ribs might just help break the cycle of violence."

and more:

On behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), I am writing to ask that you put John Mark Karr on an exclusively vegetarian diet.

As you may know, Mr. Karr’s final meals before being put into your custody included roast duck and foie gras, the latter of which is produced by ramming a pipe down birds’ throats and force-feeding them until their livers become so grossly distended that the birds have trouble moving. Mr. Karr’s meals supported cruelty to animals that would warrant felony charges were dogs or cats abused in the same ways.

That's what she said. I think her parents have realized that there is money in any letters they may have from Karr, and the more stories they can come up with, the more money they will be offered. This is like a cash cow has dropped into their lap. Not saying that any of us would be tempted to stretch the truth a little in this situation (LOL), but some people would.
