Los Angeles - "Regardless of his guilt or innocence, please don’t let Mr. Karr be responsible for the death of even one more living being," urges PETA in a letter sent this morning to Los Angeles County Sheriff Leroy Baca. PETA was prompted to write the letter in response to reports of Karr’s taste for foie gras and other foods involving violence against animals.

As you may know, Mr. Karr’s final meals before being put into your custody included roast duck and foie gras, the latter of which is produced by ramming a pipe down birds’ throats and force-feeding them until their livers become so grossly distended that the birds have trouble moving. Mr. Karr’s meals supported cruelty to animals that would warrant felony charges were dogs or cats abused in the same ways.

Only JBean could come up with something like the above, but hey, this end of the case is open to a lot of ridicule, and it is showing signs of even getting worse as each day goes by.

So right now, the score is Boulder D.A. 85 points to JMK 15 points


When, and if, JMK has more than 50 points, that means he isn't going to Boulder.

I cetainly hope the Boulder Task Force thought ahead enough to assign officers to monitor the pedo chat rooms, and websites, because if anything was going to draw the actual perp out, the Karr arrest, and 24/7 news, was going to do it. I found an error on this timeline , entry Dec.25,1996, it says her body was placed in a small 'windowless' room in the basement. We all know there were windows in the room. I havent read any furthur yet.
John Ramsey said he carried JBR up to her room and tucked her into bed when they returned home that night as she had fallen asleep in the car.The suspect said he hid under the bed in the guest room and listened while Patsy read JB a bedtime story. According to Mr. Ramsey,that did not happen .
There are many things not adding up as I see it.I am wondering if he needed a free ride back home and this was an easy way to get it.
I still suspect Mike Helgoth was involved in her death , even though his DNA did not match,he had a cap with the same initials as those signed on the ransom note and his boot print matched one print in the basement room where JB was found. I also think his death was a homicide and not a suicide. I have never believed that the Ramseys murdered JB,imo I fear a killer has gotten away with it and may never be found .

I believe the room she was found in was the wine celler room. It didnt have a window. The window was located in the laundry room area of the basement. I could be mistaken as its been a while since I saw the photos of the basement set up

John Mark Karr Gets Trip To France For Riots Confession

John Karr, the self-proclaimed killer of Jon Benet Ramsey has recanted his confession and now proclaims to have ignited the riots that plagued France last year. He also claims to know where more DaVinci clues are hidden in the Vatican. Are these just veiled attempts to get trips to exotic places? Probably, but that's the beauty of his schemes! Karr is said to be writing a travel guide on how anyone can see the country or city of his or her choice simply by lying.

San Jose attorneys say they are representing Karr

A former prosecutor who has been cited by judges three times for giving incorrect legal advice announced Wednesday that her small San Jose law firm is representing JonBenet Ramsay murder suspect John Mark Karr.

Jamie Harmon said she and associate Patience Van Zandt, who represented Karr in a 2001 child case in Sonoma County, were retained by Karr that morning.

Harmon is not unaccustomed to seeing her name in newspapers. Earlier this year, she was one of the subjects of a Mercury News series that that examined questionable actions by prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges.

Harmon, 49, had been cited by judges on three occasions for giving incorrect legal advice to clients, isolated instances that Harmon has said are not illustrative of a 23-year career that has involved hundreds of cases. Wednesday she portrayed herself the victim of a political agenda.

In one case in 2002 involved client Ralph Cortez who was charged with sexual molestation. Although he maintained his innocence, he agreed to plead no contest based on Harmon's counsel. He later changed his mind and declared Harmon's advice was wrong.

As proof, he submitted a secret tape recording -- made weeks after his plea -- in which Harmon is heard telling Cortez he could petition to have his name expunged from the state's sex offender registry. In reality, Cortez would have had to apply after a 10-year period and hope for a governor's pardon.

After hearing the tape, Judge Edward Lee allowed Cortez to withdraw his plea, but not before saying, ``There is something in this case that simply stinks.''

A graduate of Santa Clara University's law school, Harmon passed the bar in 1983. She served as a prosecutor from 1986 to 1999, leaving the district attorney's office and entering private practice.

Van Zandt, 39, a McGeorge School of Law graduate, was admitted to the bar in 1995. She also served on the Marin County Juvenile Justice Commission.[

Karr is said to be writing a travel guide on how anyone can see the country or city of his or her choice simply by lying.
His book, titled 'Lying for Idiots', will not be released for another 3 weeks but pre-release orders already exceed 13,000 copies. In his book Karr provides examples of how to research enough of an unsolved crime to confound authorities and generate an extradition. He also gives 'dress for success' tips and which airlines provide the best service and in-flight meals.

Jamie Harmon could never afford the kind of publicity she is getting out of this. She saw a chance to get her name out there and she jumped at it. Given what appears to be her legal skills the liklyhood that JMK will be convicted just increased a thousand fold if he did it and two thousand if he did not.
