Jamie Harmon could never afford the kind of publicity she is getting out of this. She saw a chance to get her name out there and she jumped at it. Given what appears to be her legal skills the liklyhood that JMK will be convicted just increased a thousand fold if he did it and two thousand if he did not.

Like a lot of others I am trying to figure out how Karr managed to travel all over the world when he never had a well-paying job????

Maybe he should write a a low budget travel book.

Sex is a very marketable commodity! The stranger the sex the further it would get one. In his case he should have made it around the world several times.

Well, I already can pretty well tell if, and that's a big if, this ever gets to trial...Karr will plead not guilty.

But I don't see him going to trial. Not unless Boulder has a "magic bullet" up their sleeve.

For each day that Karr remains incarcerated in the L.A. County Jail:


I give him 5 points

and subtract 5 points from the Boulder D.A.


So right now, the score is Boulder D.A. 85 points to JMK 15 points


When, and if, JMK has more than 50 points, that means he isn't going to Boulder.

I believe the room she was found in was the wine celler room. It didnt have a window. The window was located in the laundry room area of the basement. I could be mistaken as its been a while since I saw the photos of the basement set up

Unless he was carring her phone number around which is not very likely the only numbers he would have had access to are from the phone book. This sure seems like a "birds of a feather" relationship.

Unless the DA has a great deal more info this chapter of the JB case is not going to last much longer and Ms Harmon is going to be back misrepresenting sex offenders in San Jose.

I believe Harmon and the other lawyer went to him, evidently. They probably were seeing the next OJ case, minus the slow white Bronco chase.

I actually wonder if this whole thing backfires if an enterprising individual will be able to sue Boulder on the behalf of Karr.

She dreaded going in the school when she saw his black Jaguar parked in the lot. (She is now 19. She can relax. She's too old for him now--bleeeech)

WHERE was he getting his money?? Because it certainly wasn't from being a substitute teacher. Was he peddling kiddie porn? Selling drugs? :waitasec:

I doubt it. He is the one confessing. He is the one that is making certain his attorneys blab about how he is not mentally ill, but unique.

It's not as if the police grabbed him off the street, as he protested his innocence. This would be a hard lawsuit to win. I doubt many lawyers would even want to entertain it. He wanted to be arrested. He wants to be JonBenet's notorious killer.

Something I've been curious about too is exactly what happened when got pinched in Thailand...what his reaction was and such.

Judges and the DA are pretty well insulated from liability in matters of this nature. The Judge would have need to personally known that the story was false. The DA went to a judge and got a warrant. Unless she knew that the affidavit was false she is covered. And how would you ever find anyone that didn't believe that JMK helped things along with his behavior. One problem here is that the DA might just be able to get a jury to convict him the the JBR killing and the JFK thing in Texas. I know he was not alive in 1963 but that will not be much of a problem given his confession.

Nancy Grace said that Harmon & Van Zandt aren't even licensed to practice law in Colorado, so if that's the case, how can they represent him once (and IF) he actually does get extradited there?

Decades later, when Michael Jackson, exercising his romantic rights, was ambushed by the cops, he hired a bunch of lawyers and got himself off. That seems to be the test: Can you hire enough lawyers?

What did the keystone cops have on Karr in the first place to fly him back free of charge?
Who told the keystone cops he was in Thailand?
Why couldn't the keystone cops do ALL the investigating before bringing him back, since they knew about him since 2001?
