When directly asked if he was innocent, Karr replied: No. Moreover, it was reported that Karr said he entered the Ramsey home at 5PM.

Still, Karr could yet prove to be a mental case, and every fruitcake is different.

I know that he said he was with her when she died in the basement. I agree with DR. Welner that he feels close to her in mind, body and spirit.

Oh, I believe you and realize he could be in that holding cell for a couple of hours or so. Whenever ahyone is released from a facility I think it takes time to go procedure.

Looking at the booking sheet is kind of interesting. I'm wondering if Mary up in Boulder took offense to Jamie's unkind comments about having a hard time getting info out of them, and even though the last communication said it would be early next week, decided instead to bring him up earlier.

John Mark Karr bragged of being 'like a wolf' sexually

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica -- John Mark Karr bragged to his landlord's family that "sexually, I am like a wolf" and said he preferred girls to women when he worked in Costa Rica as an English teacher, his former housemates told The Associated Press.

Karr, now jailed in Los Angeles after his arrest in Thailand, faces a Colorado warrant for the 1996 murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey.

Karr traveled around the world since then, including brief stays in Honduras and Costa Rica, where he rented a room in 2004 from Canadian John Hall, who teaches at a private university in the capital of San Jose.

Hall, 42, told the AP in an exclusive interview that he rented a room to Karr through an Internet posting, but asked him to leave after about five weeks because Karr was saying "rude and inappropriate things" to his Costa Rican wife and stepdaughters, then 16 and 20.

"I threw him out because he was causing problems for them," Hall said.

One stepdaughter, now 22, told the AP that Karr said several times that he liked girls.

"My mother asked him whether he was looking for a girlfriend in Costa Rica and he answered that he didn't like adult women, only small ones," she said, speaking on condition her name not be published. "I thought he meant young women, and never imagined he meant girls."

After kicking Karr out, Hall remained suspicious enough to do a computer search to see if he was a sex predator.

"I suspected he was a pedophile. I looked on the Internet to see if there was something on him, but I didn't find anything," he said.

Buzz, it seems we are going to have never ending revelations that will be similar to what Karr said in Costa Rica.

In a trial, what Karr has told people over many, many a year, would create a heinous profile of a man sexually obsessed with young girls. And that profile is a perfect match to what kind of intruder would have sexually violated JonBenet.

If there is a trial, Karr's profile is going be beyond damning. Logically or not, jurors will take it to enhance the credibility of other circumstantial evidence that works against Karr.

Even if the DNA does not match, I see this going to trial. And I can see the State opening following a course as follows:

-- First, laying out what what Karr has already confessed to.

-- Second, spending day after day developing Karr's profile as a self-admitted preyer of young girls -- time spent to to ensure all of the jurors would truly despise him.

-- Third, his lack of an alibi and any revelations Karr made in emails or elsewhere regarding case facts that never made it to the public domain.

-- Lastly, landing a knockout blow with compelling handwriting match-up work and Karr's closing in the year-book comparitive; i.e., "Shall Be The Conqueror". A prosecutor might well end their rebuttal closing argument by telling the jury: It's now up to you to make sure that does not happen.

Wudge, while we know that it is true that Karr has done a fairly good job of convicting himself, I only hope that Boulder D.A. Mary Lacy can come up with some very convincing evidence, because as it stands right now, if conclusive evidence isn't presented in the case, I feel that many of us will still feel that they have convicted a delusional, but innocent, defendant, and we will remain always wondering who the real murderer of Jon Benet actually is.

No MrsMush, but I turned it on CTV! LOL

It has been about an hour since Tricia was on msnbc, and I'm wondering if what Tricia said about how she doesn't think Karr will actually end up going to Co has spurned Mary into acting on it right away! Could be, as the timing is so close.

CORRECTION: Just heard the plane left Co at 8:30am this morning!

A former Ramsey case investigator said evidence that could confirm Karr's involvement in the beauty queen's murder includes what was written on the first draft of the ransom note.

The first draft was never found but authorities determined what was written by examining marks in a notepad. The killer would know what he originally wrote, and why he changed the wording, the investigator said.

Mr Nagel's document also suggests previously published emails exchanged between Karr and a University of Colorado journalism professor, Michael Tracey, may not include the incriminating emails that led to his arrest. "[The media] even allege, with no basis for doing so, that a substantial portion of the emails between Mr Karr and Mr Tracey have been disclosed," the motion said.

Mr Nagel said that despite thousands of articles and books written about the murder, "most of the evidence in the affidavit has not been disclosed".

On CTV they are showing the private plane that is in Long Beach CA airport that will be picking JMK up. It's just there waiting for him to arrive.

  • #1,492
They are showing a helicopter on MSNBC, I'm guessing that's the one that's going to pick him up. It's landing, he might be in that helicopter, but they are not sure. This reminds me of the bronco chase. Watching planes and helicopters instead.

If Karr is headed to Colo today. Someone correct me if I wrong. But now the DA has 72 hours to either charge him or let him go correct?

Stan they can not do a thing except have him stand trial in Ca. He made a statement not file a police report. It is the DA fault they went and picked him up. Without all the info first.
Actually, they have to clear the grand jury to get him to trial. Since they didn't even learn his name until August 11th, they did very little investoigation into him before arresting him. Expect this case to get thrown out by the DA or no billed by the grand jury.

They knew about Karr is May thanks to Tracey. That is the part that gets me. Why did they wait till after Patsy died to do anything?

Larry Pozner, longtime Ramsey case commentator,is on MSNBC right now--love his cynical no-nonsense cut-the-bs attitude
