I WANT to believe JMK is sick, delusional, in need of help - BUT NOT THE ONE!
It really disturbs me that the world would want to jump on his bones and execute him for his own delusions. NEED FOR WORLD'S ATTENTION AS A NOTORIOUS CHARACTER? That's not the hallmark of a rational, well human being.

By the way, does Colorado have the Death Penalty for Murder One?

I think they do have the DP and have only executed 2 men in the past several years. But, I am not sure.

I'm just going to stay open to it and wait on the evidence. It could go either way at this point IMO.

I must be losing it, or under the influence of a glass of chardonnay. The National Enquirer videos of him at a friend's house, with the kids, were really cute, and HE WAS cute.

I have researched, but still don't fully understand why Wendy Hutchens spent this kind of time and effort trying to get JMK to talk on tape. It's no wonder that the killing of the No.CA. 12-year-old black girl by the side of the road didn't fit JMK, and he was removed from suspicion.

The 5-counts of kiddie on his computer seems very weak, after all that effort and expense.

It's very difficult to discern from Wendy Hutchens' pyschological profile of JMK how much was her impression or "arm chair" analysis, and how much was his fantasy at the time vs. what actually happened.

On some levels, he's kind of endearing ... and I guess that's the scary part.

It is hard to rationalize the Nat Enq video with the guy we see today. Totally different in every way. When I look at friends around me everyone still seems the same as they were 14 yrs ago including myself.Aw, yeah, a little balder , fatter or maybe a few wrinlkles but this guy has done a complete 180 degree turn. Seems like he has just lost himself somewhere. He does not seem effeminate int he videos and is kinda soft featured.But now he looks hard. Bizarre!

I just want to mention about Ted Bundy again, to the very end he lied and manipulated the authorities, and tried to weasel his way out of execution by promising to tell about more crimes a little at a time. He gave a touching interview while on death row about how made him this way, and if they kept him alive he could help others prevent this terrible thing from happening again. They didn't buy it and they executed him. I can imagine John Karr trying to explain even on his way to execution that it's society's fault for not letting men love little girls. That seems to be his "cause". Ted Bundy was a sociopath and I think John Karr is one too. Did you hear him talk about how alive JBR was in death? I'm sorry but...how does anyone ignore that?

No- one is ignoring his crazy rantings about JBR and I agree that he could be a sociopath but we do not know this to be true as yet.He could also be a sad, sack attention seeker in need of psychiatric care.Regardless he is a convicted pedo and we as a society that loves our kids want him and his ilk, off the streets.

I saw it on fox news here . He was playing with the kids and messing around on the couch.Laughing and trying to'hide' from the camera.It was a carefree type-of- thing. Also saw won of him playing guitar.sorry no links.

OH, that one. OK thanks, I've seen that but didn't realize it was from the NE. I looked on the NE website but couldn't find it, You Tube doesn't have anything new either.

The waiting is killing me, I'm ready to get this preliminary hearing going if we're going to have one. I heard them say on TV today that it could be weeks into the future. I'm going to try to finish reading the "Patricia letters" I guess. :doh:

No, Karr has chosen a public defender. Seth Tomin. It is Karr's attorney who is fighting the DNA. Any PREVIOUS samples cannot be used, and a court order must be obtained for any subsequent tests is his first motion.

Perhaps they DID have a previous sample of his DNA. Hmmmm.

Maybe I should say that here in Oz if he was caught and found guilty of he would have a conviction. We do not have missdemeanour charges.I automatically aassumed that if you are found guilty it is a conviction. Sorry!

No, I thought he said from Thailand but wasn't certain so I didn't post that. I see this guest on often. He has a funny voice for such a big burly guy. And that is all he said, except he thinks it is what prompted the DA to go get him from Thailand.

Someone in LE had to so some electronic footwork from his emails, to find him in Thailand. Anyone remember how long he had been in Thailand?

Maybe WE will know what the REAL truth was sooner or later, on just HOW he was zeroed in on and the dna etc.

Seth I do believe is just doing his job, in getting a fair trial for Karr. Fresh dna with a court order is the American Justice system.

IF the hard letter dna was a sneeze HOW would we know whether the REAL killer was with Karr in Thailand, and sneezed on the letter, blah blah etc.

I still sorta like my idea that MAYBE his Thailand letter dna matches another unsolved Colorado crime, hmmm. Just cuz he is nutz over JonBenet case, would not preclude my hair brained thought.

I want the real deal for JonBenet, she deserves for us to know and find her killer.

I can't think of any other reason, unless the lawyer wants an OFFICIAL sample done by Boulder, but if the Thailand sample didn't match, if I was his attorney, I'd be jumping up and down and waving it and saying this is the one we use!!!!

i have given that some thought. after hearing a boulder detective was following Karr for 7 days in Thailand, i wondered IF he got a DNA sample and it was processed AND matched, thus the RUSH TO GET HIM BACK HERE.

i know everyone and i do mean EVERYONE says this DA has nothing. but i'm starting to think
what if.....
