"Trooper Kevin Cook said state law enforcement assisted in the search for a missing person. Cook said after receiving information on the person's location, SBI agents obtained search warrants for property off U.S. 84 in western Houston County. A body soon was discovered with assistance from the Southwest Panhandle Search and Rescue cadaver dogs."

(CNN) -- One of four students injured when a freshman opened fire in a Washington high school cafeteria has died, bringing the death toll to two.

Three others remain hospitalized from the Friday shooting at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

The story of a registered sex offender -- who is HIV positive -- charged with sexually assaulting his then-23 month-old niece, and impregnating a 14-year-old girl has taken another disturbing turn.

The sergeant of HPD's child sex crime unit says 33-year-old David Richard Wilson has told detectives that he's had sex with "numerous other people."

Wilson is said to be "regretful," but he has yet to tell investigators how many more people/victims may be involved, their ages, names or dates.

As a result, anyone who many have crossed paths with Wilson, or may be concerned their children know him, are asked to call police. The concern is that anyone who had sex with him may be infected with several sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

Gospel singer James Fortune arrested in Texas | abc11.com

STAFFORD, TX --KTRK in Houston has learned that gospel music superstar James Fortune was arrested in Stafford, Texas. According to a spokesman for the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter is charged with aggravated assault family violence. He was booked on October 23, and posted the $20,000 bond the next day.

This is not Fortune's first brush with the law. He was charged with injury to child in 2002 for burning his stepson, who was 4-years-old at the time, with scalding hot water. According to a lawsuit filed in 2012 by the child's father, Fortune put the child in a bathtub and allegedly held him there. Fortune pled guilty to the charge and completed a six-year deferred adjudication. That lawsuit was dismissed.

TACOMA, Wash. — Steven Powell was re-charged and re-arrested Monday and is headed back to court.

A bench warrant was issued for Powell's arrest Monday by the Pierce County Superior Court. Powell, who was released from prison in March after serving 30 months for his conviction on multiple counts of voyeurism, was arrested at his home in Tacoma, prosecutors say.

A husband and wife face murder charges after their newborn's remains were discovered in a fire pit and ditch at their Moore County home last month.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating Robert and Michelle Roper on Sept. 23.

Both are charged with one count of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, one count of premeditated first degree murder and two counts of felony murder.

Ryan Champion is charged in the deaths of his parents and sister. He is also charged with the death of Vito Riservato, who was originally believed to have been the gunman.

He is charged with four counts of capital murder and one count of capital kidnapping.

The Champions were very well known in the community. Joy Champion taught elementary school in Cadiz for more than 30-years. Their daughter was a racetrack veterinarian in Louisiana and was visiting her family over the weekend.

Riservato, 22, was originally named the only suspect in the murders.

Troopers said they believe Riservato had some involvement in murders, but believe Ryan Champion was much more involved than originally relayed to them.

Troopers accused Ryan Champion of kidnapping his sister, Emily Champion. Police are not releasing a motive at this time.

13-year-old twins among 3 dead in Santa Ana Halloween hit-and-run - LA Times

Three 13-year-old girls, two of whom were twins, were killed by a hit-and-run driver Friday evening while they were trick-or-treating in Santa Ana, police said.
The three were struck about 6:45 p.m. by a driver "going at a high rate of speed" westbound while they were in a crosswalk in the area of Old Grand Street and Fairhaven Avenue, directly in front of Fairhaven Elementary School, said a spokesman for the Santa Ana police.

All three girls were declared dead at the scene.
