This "rocker" needs to rent a beach house and SIT in a rocker while he watches his girls spend the summer playing in the surf and sand! All the concert dates can wait....after all, he has been there and done that for like 20 years already.

absolutely understand why he felt the need to be at the apprentice finale. but everything since then is overkill. he should think of rain and his other daughter and what would happen to them if anything happens to him.

It is most likely medically advisable to wait until they medications that they have put him on help to get him into a more medically stable condition. I think he stated something to that effect in one of his interviews that I read. His recovery from the heart surgery will also be better if he has time to become more mobile and recover from the effects of his other conditions first.

the problem with this is he isnt giving himself time to get stable and recover......hes going ahead with his plans.

Bret doesn't appear to be taking good are of himself. He has had one medical condition/problem after another. He needs to chill, sit back, take care of each problem, and my GOD, just relax and get better. He is a train wreck. He is a work addict I am afarid. He has not only himself to think about but his children. I fail to see what the point is pushing himself so much and putting off surgery. I can see waiting if it interferes with one of his other conditions but that is the only reason. He has enough going on. I just don't want to hear he is going on tour...

My thoughts are with him.

He has had at least 3 or 4 major health issues in the last few months that could have taken his life. He needs to take it easy because the next time he may not be so lucky.

Anyone else catch him on Leno? This guy's body is telling him something and I wish he would listen! Maybe it's the meds but his hands shook quite a bit and he would hold them down...at least that was my impression. He should go home and be with his family.

I fully agree. However, DH and I were talking last night and I think Bret is just one of those people who don't know how to slow down. They get antsy, depressed, agitated, etc. when they're not busy doing something. While I agree he NEEDS to rest, I honestly think that's difficult for him and to him it may feel worse than being active does. Even if it is contradictory (sp).

Totally agree with you. It has benefited him in his career, I just hope it doesn't cost him his life. He has had so many health problems in the last couple of months. Scary.
