Bret Michaels suing Tony Awards/CBS

As all remember, at the 2009 Tony Awards: Bret and a piece of scenery met head first, in a big "oops" leaving him with a broken nose and busted lip during the opening number. A good 10 months later he had the brain issues that landed him in ICU fighting or his life... he is now convinced that the 2009 incident is to blame, so he is suing the Tony Awards/CBS.

In part, his lawyer says:

"They must be held accountable for almost killing Bret, and that is what we are going to do."

Bret wants people to believe that the producers left him on stage clueless... but there is a tiny issue on that: dress rehearsal. There is a video of the dress rehearsal that plainly shows Bret rehearsing his number, hitting his marks and clearing the stage as the sign descends. So, he knew what to do... he wasn't clueless. IMO, the producers are not to blame for him going off routine and nailing his head against the sign. HE made the choice to go off mark... not them.
