There was a photo of the shoes recovered, but shortly after the case was published the image was removed. Not sure why.

Melbourne police are conducting a death investigation after a man’s body was found by firefighters putting out a small brush fire.

The unidentified remains were found Wednesday, Jan. 21, close to the railroad track near Post Road, in an area near a known homeless camp.

There was a photo of the shoes recovered, but shortly after the case was published the image was removed. Not sure why.

Some posts on Facebook are saying it was a man's body. Since the biological sex is unknown, maybe they removed the photo of the shoes so it wouldn’t mislead people about the victim’s possible identity. Women can also wear a size 11.5 shoe. MOO JMO
