Desperate family of missing UK teen issue appeal after she vanishes in Thailand

Bella May Culley, 18, was last known to be in the Pattaya area and last spoke to her family on Saturday - her relatives are appealing for help to find her and are 'going out of their minds'

Bella May Culley was last heard from last Saturday, Telling her mum she would face time her later that day.
Her phone is thought to have been switched off since. Bella’s dad and auntie have gone over to Thailand in search of her.

''Bella's father, Neil Culley, has now flown to Thailand with his sister, Kerrie Culley, in an attempt to find answers Lyanne told Teesside Live: "She flew out to the Philippines after Easter with a friend and she was there for three weeks. She was posting loads of pictures and then she went to Thailand on about May 3.

"The last message she sent was to me and that was on Saturday at 5.30pm saying she was going to Facetime me later. That was the last message anyone has received from what we can figure out up to now. I'm just waiting on her dad who is now in Bangkok to get back with any more information. I just want her home and safe or to hear her gorgeous little voice."

The family has confirmed that Thai police are now involved and Bella's case is being treated as "high priority".

Cleveland Police have this afternoon had confirmation from the authorities in Georgia that an 18-year-old woman from Billingham has been arrested there on suspicion of drugs offences and that she remains in their custody.

That seems to be a given nowadays.

There will be a lot of people out there who’ll sympathise with the young woman and her family, and will give freely.

I'm sure her parents are relieved she's alive (and hopefully, relatively safe). I feel particularly dense wondering which Georgia she's been arrested in, but drug laws in either location might not take her crimes lightly. Was she coerced? Was this something she was just doing this one time? How was she caught!? I have so many questions.

Who? BMC clearly met someone who gave her drugs to carry. That someone was very likely the person who funded the "free" trip. What's not clear is whether Georgia was the ultimate destination or merely a layover on the way to another destination, in which case the drugs were probably found during baggage transfer to another plane.

Or do you mean the woman she was travelling with, about whom there seems to have been nothing since they were touring the Philippines?
