Are Britney and Mr. Britney on drugs? Seriously!!! Are they??
I cannot think of one single reason not to fasten a 7 month old baby into a high chair.

I agree that the 6 days' waiting period looks very suspicious.. Like they KNEW they would be in trouble again.

I applaud the hospital staff member or members who contacted CPS.
I hope we will each be as vigilant about every other incident we know of that sounds or looks " off" when it comes to a little child and his or her welfare.

Word is Star Magazine made the story up.

what do you think?

I think that if a tabloid made it up, she will sue the hell out of them and WIN.
Chances are, not even a tab would make up something about a little baby that was totally false.
They have broken a lot of stories about endangered children ( think Michael Jackson's child danging from a hotel window and Whitney Houston's drug use around her little daughter) , yet are not always credible sources in the mainstream media.

Word is, the nanny dropped the kid.My question is, why does she even have a nanny? It's not like she is working or anything:crazy:

Good Morning America reported that there were 2 published reports of this incident. Regardless of who dropped the baby, shouldn't someone have contacted a doctor, just to be on the safe side??

Wonder how long the nanny will last if she dropped the baby?

It's on foxnews too. Apparently Mom & Dad weren't even home when it happened, the nanny dropped him.

First of all, I'm NOT a fan of Britney or whats-his-name. BUT, the thing in the car looked like just plain stupidity to me, and this incident occured when they weren't even home. As for waiting six days, perhaps there was no noticible difference in the child until then.

Like I say, NOT a fan and not necessarily defending their actions, but I really don't think they mean to endanger the child. They're just totally ignorant - just because they're rich does not mean they're educated. We can equate them to any 16 year old trailer park mom who just doesn't know any better and doesn't have the sense to ask anyone else, and if they do, who are they going to ask? Probably their own parents, who are no more intellegent then they are. These people are basically high school dropouts (as many young celebrities are) that have been thrust into the limelight because they had some minor talent and a great deal of marketability. Again, just because they're wearing Gucci instead of K-Mart Blue Light Special doesn't really make them any different on the levels where it counts.

Ok. i'm agreeing they would have shouted long and loud if the Star had made it up.

so where does that leave them?

hiring incompetent staff to take care of their baby. not immensely cheering, in itself, is it?

It's been reported that a doctor came to the house the day it happened and examined the baby.

Parents were concerned because baby was lethargic and took him to the ER a few days later.

I know many people hate this couple but it was an accident, they weren't even home. Who's child was NEVER accidentally injured?:slap:

They were apparently here in Dallas when this happened. Can't blame them, but I'd be seriously talking to the nanny and watching her closely. :)

Also was an antique feeding chair. Hmmm. Who knows what truly went on. I am sure we won't know.

It does sound like this was handled properly. If Brit hadn't been driving without the baby in a safety seat just a few months ago, CPS wouldn't have even become involved in this one. I would be watching the nanny or replacing her, but other than that, it sounds like an accident and that the baby was taken care of.

I don't think so. He did a radio station interview and she came with. They said on the radio that they went to a Dallas nightclub that night, had a fight and ended up staying at different hotels though. ahhhhhhhhhh young love.
