You know, Tez, you can do all you can but sometimes they are still going to do their own thing. Your daughter is very blessed to have you, so understanding and loving and a good grandma-to-be!! You are loving both your daughters through their messes...and that makes you a GREAT mother and person. Hugs to you...to all of you. So happy everything is happy now for you.
Hugs back to you.

And yes, no matter what you do, they sometimes do their own thing. Case in point, my oldest daughter. We had the birth control talk, and she was supposed to be taking her pills. But, she wasn't. At least she admitted to us that she wasn't.

Exactly. And I believe all babies are a gift from God and they come along when they are meant to. This baby was just meant...and he or she will have such a loving family!

Just saw it on PH....and I'm not sure that's what it is. Looked like flesh-colored panties to me, with some kind of swirl or lace design.

There are 3 different sets of pictures at that site. In two of the sets of pictures she is most definitely not wearing panties. In one shot you can see her abdominal scar, her shaved crotch and her anal area.

If a man was exposing his genitalia in this manner I would think he would be arrested for indecent exposure. I don't see why a woman should not be subject to those same standard of behavior, whether they are a "celebrity" or not.

I really wonder if this girl has a mental problem.... a few years ago we had a judge here in Pittsburgh who would go into bars here in town, get drunk and drop his trousers and underpants in public. He did this at least three times and it made the newspapers before he was removed from the bench.

Exhibitionism is a mental illness where people expose their genitals in public. Usually it is men, but hey, nowadays women have equal rights!

Where is her family, I wonder?

"Exhibitionism

What is exhibitionism?
Exhibitionism is a sexual disorder. People with this disorder are sexually aroused by showing their sexual organs to strangers. People who have this disorder may masturbate while they expose themselves, but do not usually seek physical contact.

While often joked about, this disorder is very serious and can be frightening to the victim.

How does it occur?
The exact cause of this disorder is not known. Experts think it may be caused by differences in the brain or nervous system. It might also be related to things such as child abuse or a family history of mental illness.

Most exhibitionists are male. Although this disorder can be a life-long problem if not treated, it often becomes less severe by age 40.

What are the symptoms?
Symptoms of this disorder include:

being sexually aroused by the shock of victims
seeking unwilling victims
not wanting further sexual contact.
How is it diagnosed?
Your health care provider will ask about your symptoms, relationships, medical history, and substance abuse history. He or she will also ask if you or someone close to you has a history of mental illness. Your provider may also do a physical exam and order tests to rule out medical conditions as a cause of your symptoms.

You may be diagnosed with exhibitionism if the fantasies, urges, or behaviors cause you distress or keep you from being able to function in school, on the job, or in relationships.

How is it treated?
Different kinds of conditioning therapy can be effective ways to treat this disorder. In biofeedback therapy, you are connected to a machine that gives you feedback with light or sound. You try to keep feedback within a certain range while you are exposed to sexually exciting material.

In covert sensitization, you first relax and picture scenes that excite you. Then you imagine something negative, such as getting your penis stuck in the zipper of your pants.

With assisted aversive conditioning, the negative event is real rather than imagined. For example, your therapist sprays a bad smell such as ammonia in the air. The goal is for you to link your actions with something negative and avoid both.

Empathy training can help you understand how your victims feel. Two kinds of medicines may be used to treat this disorder:

Antiandrogens reduce male sex hormone levels.
Medicines such as fluoxetine (Prozac) increase the brain chemical serotonin and reduce obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.
When should I seek help?
Many mild forms of exhibitionism are considered normal in our culture. Young children may try to shock others by showing their genitals or underwear. This is usually a passing phase. It calls for professional treatment only if it keeps on.

If your symptoms are seriously interfering with your daily life, seek help from your health care provider or a mental health therapist. Many people with this disorder do not get help until they are caught by the police and the court orders treatment. If you or someone you care about is an exhibitionist, get help from a mental health professional early.

What can I do to help myself?
The following may help you:

Do not use illegal drugs or alcohol. Drugs and alcohol can make your symptoms worse. If you are taking medicine, using drugs or alcohol could be very dangerous.
Follow exactly the directions for prescribed medicine.
Tell your provider if your symptoms seem to be getting worse or if you are having trouble dealing with them.
For more information, contact the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) or the National Mental Health Association (NMHA).

Well, in Janet Jackson's case, and Madonna's case, it's from being sexually abused...

Now I am no Britney fan, far from it. I think she is tacky. But tonight I had the thrill (lol) of seeing that dingy Federline as a Mob member, on the game show 1 to 100 w/ Bob Saget. (My guilty pleasure - any trivia-based-risk-taking game show). Anyway, his dismal lack of knowledge had him kicked to the curb by about the 3d or 4th question. The one he missed was asking who the "dish ran away" with, in the nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle." The correct answer was "flatware" (and the choices not obscure).

Actually, I found myself thinking, what a shame they didn't hang in there, they seemed to be so well-matched.

I have never heard Madonna was sexually abused? Did I read your post correctly?

Today is Britney's birtday. I bet she is planning paint the town red with skankieness. Be on the look out for crotch shots tomorrow that would make larry flint blush. Maybe she will go out nude just to save some time. Why bother with clothing if you are going to show you privatest of privates to everyone?

How disgusting. Was Britney exposing herself on purpose or was it accidental?

  • #295
Well, one would THINK it would be accidental. But 3 times??? I dunno.

Gross.

I used to like Britney, too.

  • #296
Don't you just hate it when your forget to put panties on when you are our partying??? Those darn photographers. :banghead:

I believe it was MSN that had a "gossip" item about Britney buying $3000 worth of undies. Mind you, $3K only got her a few pairs of thongs and some bustiers, but it's a start. I saw the pics and I kept thinking about the "itch" factor. As in, hair removal requires regular maintenance or it grows back and itches (so I'm told).

Wow, Tez - you're my hero - as are all who are raising teenage boys. My sons are 4 and 6...it's hard to imagine they'll be asking about beaver shots one day!

My son has never asked me about anything like that, and THANK GOD!

I would not have been able to answer it, tho' perhaps his dad would've; thank heavens he's now 26 and surely his girlfriends explain things to him. :D

I agree. Mrs. Adnoid agrees.

Clearly this was NOT accidental. I guess any publicity is good publicity.

She has kids. Kids grow up, and those photos, like tattoos, are forever. Better start working on your explanation to your kids NOW, Ms. Spears - it'll need to be a good one.

Absolutely. When you have children, it should change your priorities some. Unfortunately, some grown-ups want to stay the "kid", and the "center of attention". Of course I don't think I would have ever done that in even the wildest of my college days. Tho I did grow up in "Ancient Times". ;)

I feel very sorry for her children, and a little bit for her.
