That's what I think.

1. Child is disgusting, should be punishable by prison. The market for it fuels the organized abuse of these children for money.

2. Child increases the chances the viewer will commit his/her own crimes against children, same as viewing violent adult increases chances of acting out what they see. I do not buy the argument that viewing keeps them from acting out.

3. Most of those who view/purchase child , themselves, do not molest children in real life.

4. Abusing a child is worse than watching a child be abused on film and should be punished more severely.

I agree completely with all points except # 3. Debatable, perhaps, but sublimation can help prevent actual acts from being committed (just basic psychology, but it does depend on the strength of the individual's urges). That the people who do commit such acts pretty much invariably possess such materials tends to skew the studies, however.

MJ had already been in ARs life since she was around 2. while we don't know if anything happened before the age of 9 i would almost be certain the whole time since she was able to understand words MJ pulled the its us against them bit with her. showering her with "love" and attention and showing her that only HE loved her like no one else could...not even her mom. any little argument the parents had just proved his point that they were all against him. chances are he would use that and build a distrust between her and anyone else she might have trusted otherwise. perhaps even mentioned this "special group" not necessarily what it was about but little bits here and there so she began thinking that only "special" people were involved or invited so that by the time he put the note under her pillow to her it was another "gift" and proof that the two of them were special people.

Seeing so many females bring their child to visit their man in the facility was appalling. Here they are dressed nice, while their child is in rags. They put money in the inmates canteen account and pay an arm and a leg for collect phone calls to speak to "their man". Meanwhile, the child is going without because of the mother's choice. When the phone is disconnected because the bill is too high, they find friends and relatives to put it in their name stating that they live with them. Many used their own child's name to connect a phone in the home to talk to these men.
Many have also put drugs in the diapers of their babies so that when the child sat on the man's lap, they would remove the drugs and put it in their "safe". I am sure you know what I maen by the word "safe". If you do not know, it is a body orifice that is supposed to be exit only.

Thanks for sharing that. I've known the kind of women we're talking about...have been related to some...and I just don't get it...the children almost always suffer.

My ex sister in law did this. My brother was in prison. He wouldn't allow his children to come to the pison nor would any of us take our children. I couldn't figure out why in the world she would take her daughter. The girl was probably 8 at the time. He told us later, she smuggled drugs in on her daughter. Her child did not do without but she did put him before her children. My brother did not respect her for it...he divorced her as soon as he got out. Now she is involved with someone in a rehab. So I know Mother's do this quite often.

Have we discovered who AR's real bio Dad is and where he is? I find it interesting that none of these articles I have read have mentioned him at all? Also what type of women who already has a child marries a sexual predator? He had been in prison for his rape of the 18 year old and everyone in town knew about the raping of his sister, starting when he was 11. I think that woman (AR's mother) did more then turn a blind eye. I wouldn't be surprised to find out later she enjoyed viewing some of this sick stuff, that didn't include her daughter, with him. Meaning she would know he was into kiddy , but somehow didn't acknowledge the fact he was abusing her daughter.

Nobody is going to like this answer, but we should stop glamorizing and airbrushing motherhood into a fairytale. Having children is NOT easy, it is not all birthday parties and scrapbooking. It is hard, very hard. It entails massive sacrifices that the weak willed, selfish, damaged are simply not able to manage.

In absolute agreement!!!!!!!! I have spent countless hours with friends before kids and after kids helping them realize this. It was hard for me to believe my friends didn't realize this in the first place!

There are programmes to help people learn to be good parents. Problem is, of course, that people need to know about them and then they need to want to go to them, and after than they need to actually apply what they learn.

Again, we come down to a major stumbling block- if you want to make the world a better place you have to get people to actually co-operate with it.

We an increase knowledge but we can't really increase desire.

Well, maybe we can...we just have to thrown in some advertising techniques and make it look cool to be a good parent.

Sadly, I cant think of a way to make that work for our other problem with educating the public and making them report on child abuse and making them want to do something about it...no way to make that look cool.

Gagnon has admitted having sex with her last summer. Gagnon has admitted that he had sex with her and Jacques simultaneously. He has also admitted he has photos of AR with her juvenile boyfriend committing sex acts.

AR's mother has admitting finding her daughter in a towel upstairs with Jacques who said she was taking a shower but the shower was dry and to finding sex toys and in her bedroom with no explanation for how they got there.

This is plenty of proof to me that AR has been abused for some time by her stepfather.

Also, AR's story about "breckenridge" is substantiated by the emails that came from Jacques.

IMO most people lack imagination and creativity and the things that are seen in of any kind, kiddie , torture , you name it, are things that most people would never imagine on their own in several lifetimes.

There are a gazillion studies that children who watch violent TV act more violent than those who don't and that adults who watch violence or sexual violence become desensitized/more tolerant of this violence. That viewing images of nature vs. a blank wall relaxes the viewer. It makes no sense then to believe that viewing would have the opposite effect of viewing every other kind of image.

IMO, it is not only the responsibility of the mother to keep her children safe from child molestors, etc. Since Brooke has been found, I have been discussing her case with my husband. In our lifetime we have "known" of multiple cases of child abuse and even more 'men' who boldly and outwardly speak to their men friends about "how sexually attractive certain underage girls are to them". I told my husband that, IMO, part of the problem is that the male friend who hears these remarks and who are disgusted by these continuious remarks by these men. so far, have actually done NOTHING to put an end to this type of behavior. It is simply 'silently accepted' by the 'firends' of these sicko males who are taking NO OUTWARD STAND against the perv making these remarks.

I understand all too well that, in generations past, a female often married at a very early age, (often due to the expected life span due to disease, etc.) This often dictiated the acceptable age to marry. My own grandmother who was born in 1902, married at age 12 and had her first child when she was 13, which was less than 9 months after her recorded marriage! This fact sickens me, but it was much more commonplace and acceptable in generations past.

Thankfully, this practice is NOT commonplace, acceptable or legal today.... In general, I feel that there are leftover 'loyalties' felt and honored among some males today which should be soundly done away with by any male who hears such perverted talk about very young females....... If the males who walk among us do not stand up for their principles and take up for these children, the perv will continue to 'sexually admire' these young children and the problem can and often will excillate into something more criminal than simple thoughts, glares and words.

It is as if there is some residual 'caveman mentality' of which some modern day men have been unable to properly dispose.

Simply because an 'urge' is there or a thought crosses ones mind does not make it right or just and it does not give them the right to speak of these children as if they are 'pieces of meat' placed in a market for the pervs own choosing.

It is time that everyone STOPS 'accepting' even these types of passing perverted comments, offhanded glares, etc. toward these young children! It is time that everyone vocally stands up to these jerks. It is time that we all tell them that WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS Assaulting Behavior directed toward 'our' children.
